Concierge were really friendly and helpful. We're able to get a early check in on the day. Location was perfect - walking distance to shops, restaurants, Rogers area etc.Comment of M. Lauren , Australia the 2015-10-24
Overall a pleasant experience. Did not dine at the hotel due to the excessive cost.Comment of N. William , Canada the 2015-09-14
This was a perfect spot for our three day Vancouver getaway. Ideally located, old-school luxurious, classic Fairmont service. The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, and it was very noisy at times, even from within our room. As long as you aren't spending a lot of time in your room during the day, this isn't too much of an issue -- though I wouldn't have wanted to attempt an afternoon nap. On the whole, it was great value for the price that we paid, and we would happily stay there again.Comment of J. Dawn , Canada the 2015-08-26

"Spoiled for 1 night the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver"
Prior to flying back to Saskatchewan, my husband and I had one night to unwind after spending a hectic 5 days in Whistler attending a real estate conference. The level of service at the Fairmont is outstanding, starting with the gentlemen who greeted us as we drove up to the hotel. Check-in was swift and seamless. Our room was warm and welcoming. The beds at the Fairmont make you feel like you are in your own cozy bed at home (perhaps even better!). Thank you for treating us like "Gold"!
"Classic Big City Hotel"
I had a one bedroom suite, which was very large and clean, but with fairly dated decor. There was no noise, either form the hallway or the exterior, to speak of. The bathroom is small and cramped by modern standards, with a tub/shower combination. The HVAC system is modern enough, and is part of a central system. The bed was very comfortable. Service was very good, and the location is very central to the City business district, close to St Paul's hospital and the upscale shopping district. A nice hotel, though a bit faded when compared to the more modern hotels in Vancouver. The Fairmont Pacific Rim has much more modern rooms and a MUCH livelier bar scene.
"In the heart of downtown"
The hotel is a museum piece structure the antique structure from outside and inside is well preserved. The main lobby was renovated and it was so elegant. The staff from front and heart of the house were so professional. The location was perfect its very close to all the itineraries that we scheduled.
"Hard to beat"
Chaine des Rotisseurs event that was spectacular and Kudos to the Vancouver Fairmont for pulling it off. Had a room in the newly renovated wing and the fit and finish was well done. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Very professional
"As always, a pleasure."
Throughout my stay I was greeted by name by the staff. Always a pleasure. I stayed on the Gold floor which is makes the stay even better. The hospitality and convenience of the gold floor makes business travel or travel for pleasure more comfortable and enjoyable.
