"Beatiful gardens and pools"
We had a great stay at this hotel. Although it does border a public beach , its not the most exciting beach and I wouldn't classify this as a beach hotel , but the lovely gardens and multiple pools more than makes up for that. We stayed in a club room which was nice and a decent size although there are some minor signs that the rooms are starting to age but nothing significant. The service was very good all round , efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good although it did get a bit monotonous after a while and could be varied a bit. We had a couple dinners in the other restaurants which were good. There are some good and interesting restaurants walking distance outside the restaurant and I would recommend trying those out. No complaints about this hotel and I would recommend it for a family holiday.
"A great Resort with the most friendly staff"
We just have been at the Interconti. It's such a beautiful place with the most friendly staff. The Resort is very clean and not overcrowded. We miss the nice waitress with ther smiling faces who try to make all our wishes come true. Exemple: we mentioned that we have eaten nice Tempeh manis (a special meal made of soya) in a restaurant, next morning they served us tempeh manis... The restaurants are very good and the sunsetbar is just great with a beautiful few to the ocean. We will com back!
"Perfect, personalized service rated by a globe trotting American couple in the hotel business"
OK, so we are both really picky. He is the hotel business and I am in the events business and we look at hotels and resorts with a very critical eye. Here at the Intercon Bali, Literally every moment of our stay was not only perfection, but the staff went above and beyond perfection to nirvana! I began writing to Agus, the concierge, 2 months before our stay to arrange a surprise cleansing and wedding blessing ceremony for us. I could feel the warm welcome immediately, and Agus wrote me back promptly at all hours, patiently and efficiently answering my millions of questions, briefing the staff about our blessing and the fact that it was a secret, arranging everything including the transfer to the priest's home 40 mins away and staying with us to take photos and interpret....he was our family for us that day, since our families couldn't be with us. Oh and he took care of all the more traditional concierge duties like suggesting activities and reserving dinners, as well! AND he gave us a beautiful gift, a painting he made himself (out of coffee grounds!) that we now have hanging in our home! And he also gave us some lovely incense because I mentioned how much I liked a certain incense I smelled. And he gave us some terrific recs for shopping in Ubud, our next destination. Honestly, he alone was worth the 30+ hour flight to get there. My partner also adored the swim up pool bartender who goes by "Marty"-- they struck up an amazing relationship in our 5 days there! The hotel has a 3:1 staff to guest ratio--unbelievable. 7 pools to swim in, with fountains etc. A Japanese restaurant with the most stunning entry I have ever seen. A gorgeous spa with lovely technicians, with very reasonable prices, Our two story duplex suite was gorgeous, and we could have easily lived there permanently! A terrific value too, esp as compared to hotels in the US. Everything was flawless. Please message me if I can help you in any way decide to go to this hotel!
"Charming Resort, Top Notch Service."
Excellent location, few steps from Jimbaran beach (public), walking distance to seafood restaurants - to the left of resort. Perfect spot to watch sunset. Stayed with family for Club Level with all Club Access, never run out of things to do, places to walk, food and drinks are available anytime. Welcome drinks were appreciated after a long flight and on a hot day (everyday is a hot day here). 12 days passed by,.. sooo fast. Room was clean, with patio which was cleaned daily, pools are great and clean and a few to choose from. Lounge is beautiful, food and service offered were excellent. Several venues to choose from for breakfast and cocktail hours. There is also tea-time at the Lounge from 2 -4 pm - make time to try it (we went many, many times), also try all venues for cocktail hours (4:30 - 7:30ish). Jimbaran Garden restaurant offers buffet breakfast, noodle soup to order, egg/ omelet stations, also ala carte menu (Bihun, Nasi Goreng). One morning, waiter was walking around with 'Jamu', try this, it is refreshing. Can also have breakfast at the Lounge, and its patios. Gardens/ grounds are very well maintained. There's also a 'Lounge' for Singaraja level, we stopped here on our walk. It was Halloween, and there were events/ programs for kids (at Planet Trekker - surcharge) as well as adults. Sunset bar was nicely decorated with Balinese Halloween theme, waiter/ waitresses were in costumes, so cute! Staff were very responsive, we had a severe leak on top of the sink outside the bathroom on our first night - thank God no one slipped due to wet floor -, we reported the leak in the morning, then we were moved to a different room that day, and to compensate, the hotel presented complimentary massage for 2 - nice gesture. Butler service was great as well - never a long wait for any request. Tried yoga 4x - Instructors were great (Gede and Made)! Would love to do more activities offered (free as well as surcharge),.. so much to do, so little time. Would definitely come back to this resort.
"A great start to our holiday"
We chose this hotel for its location to the airport. Having travelled for 19 hours we wanted somewhere to start the holiday for a few days which was close to the airport and by the sea. We chose the perfect hotel. The hotel, restaurants and spa were all of the best quality and the staff were very polite and friendly. The gardens were a delight.Highly recommend this hotel.
