"Three wonderful nights at Siankaba"
We picked Siankaba to end a 1st visit to Zambia and it was perfect. Right in the Zambezi, close to the Falls, it was a secluded luxury hideaway. Full marks to Eunice and her team. Great food and wines. Unreserved endorsement from us.
"Unbelievable place and people"
We stayed here for 3 nights for our Honeymoon in September 2016. From start to finish, this place was fantastic, the staff were beyond attentive, food was delicious and the surroundings were just incredible. Couldn't recommend it enough!
If you are seeking a quiet experience for your trip to Victoria Falls, this is the place for you. Located about 45 minutes of Livingstone, this unique accommodation is located on two islands in the Zambezi River. After traveling west of Livingstone on a nicely paved road, you travel south down to the Zambezi River on a dirt road through the little village of Siankaba. After checking in at the reception, you are taken on a small boat to the islands where you will find seven nicely appointed cabins. The staff is absolutely wonderful and extremely friendly. The hotel includes several activities including a trip to Victoria Falls and trips on the river. The local area is interesting and the hotel will take you on a walk through the local village. The cabins are very comfortable and overlook the Zambezi River. The meals are excellent and are served in the lodge's island main location. The islands are served by a series of boardwalks that connect the rooms with the main lodge area. The staff is extremely nice and chatty...you will learn about their local lives and customs and make new friends. Highly recommended for those seeking a unique accommodation "away from it all".
"Perfect lodge overlooking the Zambezii"
One of the best lodges we've ever stayed in during our travels to southern Africa. Situated on two small islands in the Zambesii, the accomodation is reached via a 5 minute boat transfer from the mainland, giving you the chance to see hippos and birds en route. The rooms are large tents, up in the canopies of the trees overlooking the river, but these tents are exceptionally well furnished and comfortable with en suite baths, showers and really comfortable beds, as well as nice terrace overlooking the river. The tents are well spaced giving ample privacy and are reached by suspended walkways through the trees - beautiful. It's a small resort, with only eight rooms, so there's no sense of being crowded. The main buildings include a great patio area for afternoon tea and sundowners and comfortable sitting areas next to the bar and dining area. There is a small pool and a nature trail also. Some packages include sundowner cruises to another island (definitely worth it) and the hotel is also able to arrange a number of activities based around Livingstone and Victoria Falls. The staff were amazing, so hospitable, friendly, helpful and courteous. We had a private lunch on another island and the service in general was terrific. Would recommend this without hesitation.
"Amazing Resort on Zambezii"
Avoid the hubbub and routine of other resorts in or near Livingston/Victoria Falls and come to Siankaba. Refined, relaxing and very sophisticated. You won't be disappointed. My wife and I spent 4 fabulous days here taking sunset cruises every night, watching hippos and crocs, having a picnic lunch on a river island or just relaxing at dinner on the terrace or at the spa overlooking the Zambezii. Ryan, Humpfrey, Eunice, Sydney and the entire staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Take a step back to true civilization in the middle of the bush. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
