"Great customer service and a well appointed hotel"
This is a lovely, charming place and special mention has to go to the quality of the staff. None of the constant chasing for tips I experienced in other hotels, just outstanding service with a smile. Rooms are very well appointed; breakfast generous and largely made to order with huge selection of Indian and "Western" food. I found the buffet lunch at Rs 4,000 (£50) rather pricey, but I may have been mistaken over the rate, so ate in the Mall next door instead. A little out of the way and a taxi is required for most things as there is little but the mall in the neighbourhood, which if you are into visiting the equivalent of a British shopping mall and seeing the very same shops, is fine. Not my thing though.

Gurgaon; which is renamed Gurugram now is a bustling place with traffic, dust and concrete jungle. The Hotel Leela is located in a nice place just isolated from the madness near the Ambience mall. Actually the Hotel is annexed to the Mall and the entrance to the Ambience Mall is just a sidewalk away. The Hotel is not easily accessible except by a car. The rooms are good and clean. The Reception staff is competent. The lobby is pleasant. The housekeeping is efficient and non-intrusive. They have a lovely sun-deck and poolside area at the terrace. The breakfast spread is very good with many live counters and interesting seating ideas near some counters. Although there was a marriage party in the Hotel with some boisterous guests; other guests were not much inconvenienced. As we had our Lunch/Dinner with our friends during our short stay we could not taste their Restaurants. Checkout was in a jiffy . Overall it was a good experience.
"Amazing customer service provided by Front Office, definitely recommended "
Myself & my wife booked a spa evening for us over the phone at The Leela Ambience Gurugram. When we arrived at the hotel we went to the front office to ask the directions for Spa facilities and one of the staff told us where the lifts were & what level to go, whereas Akshay Chawla who was stood at the front office too actually offered to take us & show around which was really kind of him. Must say we were really impressed with his hospitality and we felt very valued & looked after. Definitely recommended!

Hi, Having stayed at most of the Leela properties in india, I can vouch for thier quality service and food standards to be one of the best in country! This hotel is not a Leela owned but a managed property, rooms are nice so is the lobby. Rooms are clean modern and nicely made Food quality is generally good tastes and options are pretty nice as well. While I stayed I tried the Buffett which was awful! Indian lentils (daal) was completely burnt, most of the stuff was either empty or completely cold! The chefs weren't really bothered even though I bought two three things to their notice, finally I decided to walk out and all of a sudden they wanted to offer me food in room service etc etc!! What could have been a very nice experience turned into a bad memory! way below Leela standards!!! Cheers

A special note for the Front Office team specially for Mr. Akshay Chawla who went above and beyond and ensured me and my family have a good stay. The team is very professional and we had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everyone is friendly, and willing to go extra miles for guest satisfaction. Big thumbs up for Akshay and team. Bravo.
