"Just outstanding, in a league of it's own"
Our 2nd visit to the Leela and from the moment we arrived we were made to feel like long lost friends. We had asked in advance for our favourite room and this was given to us and was ready on arrival. The staff are exceptional and some even remembered us from a year ago (and they really did! Even recalling what we had ordered in the past). The food in every area of the hotel, pool bar, all restaurants, breakfast buffet, was excellent. Rooms are beautiful but it is the staff that make this hotel my favourite. I absolutely love this place, it is quite outstanding. Book with confidence.
"Beautiful and relaxing"
We stayed with our teenage old son at The Leela Goa on recommendation of friends. Beautiful resort indeed with a white non-crowded beach, stunning gardens, and modern well equipped rooms. I personally liked the reception area best which has a distinct Asian feel to it, while the rooms around the lake were more Portuguese in style. The gardens are stunning with an amazing variety of birds. Loved it. We are coming back, but will not take half board anymore as we felt that the lunch/dinner buffet was the same every day, which got a bit boring after a few days.

"Beautiful hotel and excellent service"
My husband and I visited the Leela at the end of October (late anniversary holiday). Our son had been a couple of years ago with his wife and two young children and they absolutely loved it so it came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. From the moment we were greeted upon arrival at the airport we were made to feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful and the gardens are an absolute delight to walk through. Accommodation, facilities and restaurants are all very good, in fact we could not find fault with anything. The only slight disappointment was that the beach restaurant had not yet been granted a licence to open (so were informed) by the local authorities but other than that there were 3 others to choose from. We also ventured out to the Fishermans Hut which is a short walk outside of the hotel complex which is frequented by lots of locals as well as hotel guests from the Holiday Inn hotel which is near the Leela. Generally 5 star hotels can plateau and in our experience the differentiation is down to the staff, in the case of the Leela the staff are all extremely well versed in how to look after guests and nothing is too much trouble they are polite and courteous at all times, so congratulations to the management. Overall our holiday was relaxed and we enjoyed it immensely. We highly recommend this hotel.
"Lap of luxury with great hospitality "
We were in goa to celebrate my wife's birthday and I have To say we chose the perfect pick ! The hotel has a whole nice tropical feel with privacy (although it's good for families as well). We stayed in the suite and it was incredible. The whole team there went over and above to make sure we had a memorable nights. They also organised a beautiful private dinner for two (at an extra cost) which was a great ending to the trip, a special thanks to Vimal for the organisation of the dinner and everyone at the Italian place. Only one issue , the beach wasn't very clean and I think the hotel should be a bit more proactive in a small cleanliness drive ....
