"Great hotel close to the airport"
A luxurious hotel with inviting lobby and nice rooms. Very elegantly dressed drivers and other personel. The proximity to the airport (5 mins by car) made this a great choice for sleeping between transfers in Mumbai. Only downside was that wifi was not free,
"good enough experience.."
Very good and polite staff willing to help with anything the airport pick up and drop off was arranged at short notice. One thing that I had like to suggest is to change the format of the Royal Club breakfast. It is underwhelming to see just the cold cuts and cereals in the buffet. Ordering from the menu is not very satisfying as it is to serve yourself form a buffet.
"Awesome place for staying..."
Really nice hotel, well built, neat and clean, maintained very well, very courteous staff. Me and my husband stayed here for one night and really enjoyed the stay. The food was also very nice and we enjoyed the vegetarian dishes a lot.
"Good hotel, service could have been better"
Hotel transfer was excellent with a very courteous driver who offered us chilled water on arrival at the airport. Check in was fast and rooms are good, in line with expectations. Food was good too, just like in any other 5 star. Strangely washroom had no dental kit. We asked for a Toth paste twice, which arrived after 45 mins. Over all good hotel, one of the best near international airport
"A 5 star without passion. Avoidable unless this is the only option"
Check in was pathetic. the reception team seems to be lost all the time. The entire team in the hotel seems devoid of any passion one expects from a 5 star hotel especially one which is considered an iconic property near the Mumbai airport. Breakfast is a miserable experience where you have to queue up informing your room number. There is nothing wrong in having a queue but the entire process is handled in an insensitive manner and while you wait you observe another breakfast going on in an adjoining room which is for some higher category rooms. while there are special breakfast arrangements in many hotels and i too have dined in them, no where would a five star hotel make their guests feel secondary by having this arrangement bang in front of 25 other guests waiting for their turn to have breakfast. The service inside the breakfast area once you get your seat is fast and efficient. But nothing special. The rooms are nice although the bathrooms clearly seem aged but maintained well. All in all a hotel one should avoid if possible and definitely if you are looking for passionate service. Sad to see that this hotel does not realize that customers will run away even if you are near the airport unless you really make them feel at home.
