"Back to the Leela"
Always a great place to stay near to the airport. the gardens make the Leela a tranquil place amid the hustle and bustle that is Mumbai. Friendly staff, always helpful and welcoming. Service good, facilities good. Drinks a little pricey and would recommend a cool cab rather than limo to go to the airport - a fraction of the price. Remains my favourite hotel near Mumbai airport.
"Such a wonderful place to stay"
I stayed for 3 weeks. From day 1 I found all staff welcoming and extremely helpful and friendly. This was very important for me staying away from family for such a long time. This is palace and it was kept immaculate. There's a large variety of food available from different restaurants in the hotel and it's all really good. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a lovely view, great air conditioning and the most amazing shower! I love the shower there. The WiFi was very impressive indeed: better than the office!! I enjoyed the other facilities too including the pool which is in the most amazing surroundings, like a paradise. I spoke to other guests who were also similarly impressed and there were a number of regulars, some which have been coming for years. Other colleagues commented to me on how amazing the health spa was including the foot and back massage. The only annoyance was that I could not get Rupees from the hotel with my credit card. Apparently this is a government mandate so not the fault of the hotel. Throughout the stay all staff were clearly interested in how my stay was going and made every effort to please. I would like to make a special mention of Bhavisha who took it upon herself to ask me details about my stay to see if there was anything that could be improved and I only had a couple of really minor points which she ensured were satisfied. Would I stay there if I visited Mumbai again' Of course!
"Great hotel in Mumbai"
The Leela Mumbai is an oasisfor all of us business people visiting this great city that is 24/7 activity. The Leela is just a short trip (5 mins) from the International Airport, but you never hear the planes. The service is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The several restaurants ensure that all tastes are catered for. The rooms are very traditional and comfortable, I would recommend the Royal Club Rooms b ecause the lounge is very good for meetings and quiet time. The pool and garden is great, a real oasis. I enjoy staying at The Leela and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mumbai.
It is without a doubt one of the best luxury hotels in mumbai. Located very close to the international airport, it has a very warm feel when you enter. Everyone from the doorman to the front desk to the servers in the restaurants are always eager to help. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable.Had stayed for attending a business conference at a nearby property, so could not sample the food as much as i would have liked. The pool is nice and clean, although it can get irritating due to the sound of the birds during early morning at the poolside. A very good spa, which we were allowed complementary use of for 60 minutes. Did have the complementary breakfast next day which was very well laid out with indian and continental options. Wifi was available but did not use. Hard to find a fault with any of the facilities provided. Would definitely like to come back and visit, this time for relaxation only. Definitely recommended for a visit.
"A unique blend of Oriental and Western tastes"
Being close to international airport, it was a very natural choice for stay. It has a quintessential Indian feel to it. With traditionally dressed guards, high ceilings, and warm yellow light, it welcomes you, a welcome change to the bristling and buzzing Mumbai city. The rooms are well maintained, service is excellent. The breakfast has a decent collection, although tends to get a little boring if you stay for a long time. Spa is good. They have serious therapists who know their job.
