"Excellent staff and very clean"
I was there on a business trip for 3 weeks duration. The room is kept clean, smelling nice and the whole ambience is very cozy and welcoming. Breakfast is first class and the staff are very professional and helpful. Its very relaxing stay and worth the money. this hotel is something everyone should try at least once a life time. I would highly recommend this hotel.
"i had to spend some time in Mumbai between flights"
a good friend recommended and booked the Leela Mumbai for me and I was elated by the hotel. The staff, room and service were all beyond expectations. I only wish I had more time to stay there and will book for sure on my next visit
"No complaints, amazing stay"
From the minute we were met at the airport to the time we were dropped back to the airport, we could fine no fault with the service that we received at The Leela. Every member of staff that we met went out of their way to make our stay an amazing experience. We received excellent treatments from the team in Salon. On a previous visit to Mumbai we stayed at the Marriott hotel in Juhu and the service we received was unacceptable, we will not be staying at the Marriott again. Big thank you again to the team at Leela for making this an experience we will not forget. We will be staying with you again when we next visit Mumbai.
"High Expectation, but dissappointed"
Me and my wife, stayed one day, on our way back to SG. Start was good, we had staff meeting us at the gate and checking in inside the room as we had our 2 month old son with us. The service w.r.t staff was no doubt the good entire stay. But, then on was very disappointed. Only one slipper in room. We wanted to go swimming, but found only one robe in the room. Ok. Those two i wouldnt rate as absolutely essential so can get past that. But as a luxury hotel they had all our infos, should have prepared room accordingly. Then, when we went out 6pm, asked to clean the room, at concierge and front office. Came back 11+ in the night. Room not cleaned. Towels not changed as requested. After calling it was done. and all this is happening post 12 am. Then realised water not refilled. Again we called and waited for it to come before we went to sleep. No tooth brush provided as well, again had to call to get it to the room. For a luxury hotel, after paying premium thats not what you expect. This was my second stay and was really disappointed. We were traveling back so were quite tired but for every service realised it was missed and had to keep calling to receive. Stayed 21st May to 22nd May. It was my birthday the day we checked in. I have stayed in Ritz and other hotels, they wish. Its a small gesture. I didnt expect, but for Leela, would have been nice to acknowledge, being a premier property. They had my registration info and passport. Also wifi should be complimentary. We should have checked everything on checkin, but busy making our 2 month old baby comfortable to notice. But even if we had checked, the fact they were missing, still would have remained.
"They seem to get it right - always"
I was introduced to the Leela Group in Bangalore on a business visit and made up my mind that I will always stay with them should the options be presented. So I did when I was in Mumbai. There is something special from the moment you walk into a Leela Hotel - its the warmth, the smell of fresh flowers the people and the welcome always makes you feel like your the most important person in the room. The hotel is luxurious with a homely feel and almost like magic someone appears if you need something. I may sound like I am being biased here, however I have stayed at many hotels around the world as I travel a lot with work and leisure and have stayed at the 4 seasons, Dorchester, Mandarin oriental and all the regular global chains I do feel that the hotel lacks of lot of activity at night for foreign travellers, like lively bars or lounges, however may that's not what they are after - they have left it to the Hyatts of the world and are not like other hotels where you have a lot of noisy people congregating in the Lobbies. They are more about being understated and classy. I hosted a dinner and huge lunch group and they just took care of everything. Special Thanks to Bhavisha and Rishi Mehra for making my stay extra special and I now have a lot colleagues who are switching to your hotel from the Hyatt and the Marriott. Looking forward to my stay in Bangkok Well done and keep up the great work - and see you soon in September :)
