"Afternoon Tea at the Leonard Hotel"
It was our first time in London and we were looking for a cute place to have afternoon tea. After some googling in the limited spurts of wifi we had, we came across the Leonard Hotel which had a slot at 6pm (which was great, most places were closed) and it was exactly what we would've wanted. It was beautifully decorated, quiet with a little jazz playing, so relaxing after a day of sight seeing. The tea was delicious and then when the treat platter came out, we hardly left any crumbs. We each had a cupcake left and they were nice enough to wrap it up for us. This will definitely be on our to-do list next time we come to London!
"Good hotel in brilliant location "
This hotel is very comfortable with a boutique decor which does need a little modernising. However the suite we had was huge which even with 2 beds in still had plenty of space. Main bedroom very nice, with 2 bathrooms. Location fantastic, loads of excellent restaurants, close to Hyde Park and just 5 minutes off oxford street. Underground 2 minutes away. Staff very helpful and polite. Great stay thanks and see you soon.
"Great English Breakfast"
We stayed at the Leonard for a night . The room we booked was clean but small, typical of London hotels. The floor arrangement / plan was like a maze. This hotel is a 3 minute walk from Oxford street and Marble Arch. They have a late (up to 10:30 pm) room dining service. They have a bar and restaurant which serves very good English breakfast : sausage , poached eggs, baked beans , toast , bacon . the staff were very kind and helpful .
The location of the hotel was very excellent as it takes less than 5 min to reach the hyde park , oxford street and the big bus station The reception was very friendly and flexible with me especially saleem who can speak arabic and explain to me the hotel history and how can i enjoy my first visit to london Also , I loved the classic style of the hotel
We had the 3 course set meal Which was perfect in every way Food was great , staff was friendly attentive with a lovely cosy feeling One of our party wanted steak extra well done , she said it was up in her top 3 Thank you Will be back 👍
