Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Close to subway or not too far to walk to Boston Common area. Would recommend and revisit!Comment of M. Deana , United Kingdom the 2013-11-07
"Clean and comfortable "
Loews is in a financial area of Boston but everything you need like bars and shops and restaurants are no more than a 5 min walk away and there are 2 T lines (Orange - Back Bay) and (Green -Arlington) very close by. Upon arrival you are warmly greeted by Door staff and Reception. The rooms are a nice size with modern facilities and the bed is very comfortable. The Restaurant inside the hotel is a little pricey but a lot of restaurants within the area are a bit more upscale and pricey anyways. The Patio bar is nice and busy especially during the week after 5pm. Overall I would recommend Loews Boston and had no complaints whatsoever
"High Quality Hotel in Boston"
A colleague and I stayed at Loews Boston hotel for 8 days. The hotel staff is very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. A fridge is provided which was very convenient, the bathroom was equipped with a towel heater, which just adds to the excellent experience. The location and quality of the hotel are very good and I can only recommend staying at the Loews Boston.
"Boston is a lovely city"
Loews Hotel is located in the Back Bay area of Boston, just a 5 minute walk from the Back Bay Amtrak Station, and is short walk from most major attractions including the Public Gardens, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, Copley Square and the main shopping districts of Newbury Street and the Downtown Historic District.. The hop on -hop off trolley gets you to most other major pointsincluding the Boston Tea Party Museum, North End ( italics restaurants and perry shops), Feneull Hall
"good business hotel..."
Loews fulfill their dependable brand in this Boston hotel. Rooms are not exciting and small, but work well. Staff are efficient and courteous. Coffee machines in the lobby area are a turn off. Restaurant is good but would recommend to try outside. Dependable for business, but lacks sophistication and finesse.
The hotel could not be more conveniently located, just five minutes from Back Bay Station and ten minutes from the Common and the best shopping and restaurants (including Bar 23 across the street and Post 360 - same owners - a block away). The lobby is off to the side of the main entrance and is really pleasant to relax in, with comfy couches, a "wall" of TV screens, and complimentary hot drinks. My standard hotel room was spacious with two big windows and the absolute most comfortable bed, pillows, and linens I have ever slept on (and I have stayed at a lot of hotels). I couldn't believe what a good night's sleep I got. My only small complaint is that the bathroom wasn't spotless. I found a number of hairs on the floor and in the tub, and the bath mat had schmutz on it like it hadn't been vacuumed. Staff were all incredibly nice, polite, and friendly, particularly the doormen. Special shout-out to the great maintenance guy who retrieved my phone charger when I ran back from the station after realizing I'd left it in the room (P.S. I did make my train!). I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.
