"I Can't Wait to Come Back"
I really liked this hotel. The room was nice and nicely appointed. The Front Desk staff is very welcoming. There is ample room to setup your luggage and clothing. The bathroom was great with fantastic water pressure and hot water. I had dinner at the restaurant. I sat at the bar by myself and had a bit of a special order. The bartender could not have been more professional and accommodating. And super bonus.... The fitness center is very nice and didn't seem to be used very much. There is nothing "not to like" at this hotel that is a short walk to everything in Time Square.
"One of the best hotels in NYC"
Excellent service Very clean Nice views well located You can walk to anywhere nearby museum, restaurants, 5th avenue, theater and more try to reserve with American express they will give you upgrades thank you
"Room with a view"
My feeling is that in Manhattan, it doesn't really matter what the room is like if you have a view of Central Park. My room at the London is actually pretty nice but the selling point is the fabulous view. Missed having a coffee maker in the room and there are no baths only showers but otherwise comfortable. There is a basi. Restaurant for breakfast but it's not somewhere to linger. Service is pretty good but you have to ask for turndown and it's impossible to find the room service menu. But the location is great and did I mention the view'
"Room Room Room"
From the location on 54th to the comfort of the rooms, you can't go wrong with The London NYC. Not gonna lie, the rooms probably need a little bit of help, but with the space you'll be treated to, along with doors to the bedroom, you can definitely escape whiny kids or a bad traveling partner. And with the black out shades, you'll enjoy a cavernous sleep on a very comfortable bed. Last but not least, with a glass shower that contains 2 separate shower heads, bring on the party. If you've stayed at the WeHo London location, the NYC property would be ranked slightly less (the onsite restaurant had a B), but this hotel is well worth a stay. I do have to give props to the front desk - arriving at 6:30a on a redeye, there was no hesitancy in providing my room; and that was the most appreciative thing of all.
"Very tired hotel - with very tiring service"
This hotel is living on a reputation it doesn't deserve. The bedrooms are tired and dull. Most of the rooms have even duller views. The furnishings are tatty and the bathrooms are not the thrill they want you to think they are. The management are poor at dealing with any issues, it took 24 hours for them to change our initial room, with the "manager" failing to get in touch on 4 separate occasions. All in all, there are significantly better options to stay at for the money this hotel charges. this is more of a 3 star with dreams of being a 5 star hotel.
