"Interesting hotel in Kowloon"
Close to Nathan Road and to street bars and attractions, you can find this rather small hotel. The decorations is what strikes you most, in the reception, as well as in the rooms. Other than that, not much to say about it. Rooms are rather small, comfortable but lacking a bit of space for a couple. Breakfast takes place in the hotel restaurant, offering Scandinavian food, in a completely different setting. Service is professional and friendly and the hotel is very well located.
"Unique hotel with lovely service"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Luxe Manor and I loved the unique furnishings and detail - especially the dog lamps!! The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a very convenient location for all your shopping and restaurant needs in the TST area. We would most definitely return if we were in Hong Kong again.
"Small, eclectic, comfortable"
This is a rather small hotel, quirky in some ways, but enjoyable. Excellent, helpful staff with good English skills. Small but impressively mosaic tiled lobby. Restaurant is very nicely decorated and the buffet was plentiful and varied from east to western food. Room decor was funky faux-french provincial. Fridge hidden in armoir, TV in a wall mirror. Faux mirrors and trim painted on walls. Nice bathroom. No complaints on cleanliness or accessories.
"Horrible in all aspects!!"
I went there with my wife and son from 28th Dec 2016 till 3rd Jan 2017, 6 horrible nights!! Made a mistake (never again!) To use a travel agent who booked me this place after paying him a bundle! Once i arrived, i was shoked how small it is from the receiption area! Then the guy at receiption made me believe that he will give me an up grade!! Imagine my shock when we went up to the room which i am sure is designed as a nursery!! Too small in everything to an extent that my three luggage pieces has No room!! I went down like crazy and made so many phone calls to my wonderful travel agent and angry shouts till we reached an agreement to pay 6600 hong kong dollars extra for my stay to move to A so-called luxury suite called safari!! What to tell you about that place, its made to resemble a tent in the wild with starry ceiling (i am not joking) and all furniture is old and dingy!! The rain shower bleeds water from the spot lights above which even can cause an electric hazard!! All in all, horrible stay all over, Breakfast is very limited in choices and the same every single day of the 6 days i stayed there!! Staff are very angry and not hospitable at all, i don't remember hearing even a good morning all my stay except once!! Forget about proper English communication as you will waste your time, it took me 15 min one day to ask about a garden location which was a big mistake! I had to wait 10 min to print a single paper from receiption which they wanted initially to charge me 5 hong kong dollars for at first then they did not and made me feel that it was a huge favour!! Never again!!! If it was the last place available there!!
"Hotel that "touch" your hearts"
This is my 2nd time staying here and I would say everything is perfect and exceed our expectation. My friend from UK and Thailand who had traveled with me like this hotel very much. Staff were friendly and polite. Check-in and check-out were fast and efficient. We also got HKD500 cash voucher for spending for the hotel F&B and on top of that we were given 50% off all beverage and 20% (or 15%' can't remember) off all foods including room service. Location wise is convenient as its close to many shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, MRT etc. Well, Looks no further for another 5 star hotel as this is the hotel providing you 5 star service with 3 star price. Will be back this coming March together with my little daughter. Can't wait to be there again.
