"Ab-solutely amazing!! "
Went with the misses and this is an unbelievable resort with stunning views, just seconds from Nai Harn beach! Good amenities nearby (bike hire, massage etc) the room was absolutely stunning and cleaned to perfection on a daily, staff are very attentive and really make the experience that extra bit special. Food, pool area, breakfast and the rock salt restaurant were all fantastic! If I were to return to Nai Harn, I'd return to The Nai Harn! 5*!
Amazing views, top notch property, suburb staff/service but one major flaw....SO MANY KIDS with no designated children's area! This resulted in screaming kids in the moderately sized pool (I counted 8 one afternoon), kids crying in the dinning areas & family's pretty much having the run of the place. I was particularly offended by the amount of naked children in & around the pool area, highly inappropriate. I get the Nai Harn can't necessarily control who books their stay but you combat it with a place for kids to gather, there's a retail space that was barely visited that could be repurposed. Had I known this before booking, I may have thought twice. I would suggest marketing yourself as a family property so there's some transparency to potential guests or create a child exclusive area so there's a reprieve to adults who simply want to enjoy some quiet time in paradise. Lastly the menu prices....ooof. As a New Yorker I was surprised to see the same prices (in some cases more...$70 USD for Whispering Angel Rosé) that I would pay back home. Luckily there's a number of no-frill establishments a quick walk down the road offering authentic Thai cuisine to counter the sticker shock. Again, breathtaking views, amazing room & facilities and 5 star service but all in all this a luxury hotel at luxury prices but the kid factor took away from what this place offers. Contrary to this post, I actually like kids, just not when I'm on vacation and expecting more of an adult experience.
"Best Holiday I have ever had"
This is honestly the best place I have ever stayed in my life. The room was magical, the staff were so kind and made our stay so easy. The hotel has a host of activities available just ask the friendly staff (who have great English) and they are happy to help. Will definitely try get back one day.
I dont think words can truly do justice to this slice of heaven in Phuket. From the moment we stepped into the resort we knew we were in for something special. The welcome was very friendly and the attention to detail was a breath of fresh air. They walked us through all aspects of the resort and what we needed to know before we were led to our room. We were taken to our room by one of the staff who took the time to point out everything we should be aware of regarding the room we were staying in. We booked the Grand Ocean View room and we were not disappointed. The view was outstanding and the room was very spacious. The dinner options in both restaurants are spectacular. Rock Salt on the beach is a special place for couples and the food was delicious. Cosmo is where you have breakfast and dinner. The wait staff are amazing and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We were lucky to have Naam look after us, every morning we were greeted by her friendly smile. For breakfast at Cosmo there is plenty of choice and they have a room for fruit, meats, yogurts, donuts etc. that is kept cool by having sliding automatic doors. I was impressed. The views from all parts of the resort give you a beautiful perspective of Nai Harn Beach. The beach has soft white sand and the water is crystal clear and very calm. Perfect for everyone including kids. We will be making this resort our place to go to at least once a year.
