"Good for family"
The last day of our trip, we were having brunch at the palms hotel. They were clean and the way to the rooms and pools were close from elevator( your family don't have to inhale all those smoke, while you are on the way to family activities). So we decided to spend last one more night here. So we went to front desk and the young lady named 'Elaine' and she was super friendly and got us the rooms that made everyone of our family were satisfied. So we are defiantly going back to this hotel on this Christmas day. :)
"Don't Come Here if You also need a Business Setting"
I am here on Business. We are booked at the Palm. The Hotel is comfortable and spacious. The Pool area's close at 600pm - a little too early fro me; maybe this is different on weekends and peak season. This hotel is not conducive to mixing business with pleasure. Unless you are in shorts you are not allowed in the pool area and the Hooters Pool patio was closed. In essence, no place to sit and have a drink, smoke a cigar and work with your teammates. Housekeeping was good, however, I asked for extra coffee and got only 1 pack. I have stayed at other Hotels in LAS that were suitable for mixing professional business with pleasure - the Palms is not one of them. If all your looking for a "foodie" and "play" hotel, then Palms is your place.
"Best off the strip place to stay!"
Our room was simply incredible. For what we paid, we were treated to quite the premium experience. We opted for the salon suite, which had an incredibly breathtaking view of the mountains. The Buffett was reasonably priced and very delicious. Every employee was extremely accommodating and we had an amazing time. Will definitely be returning to the palms next time to Vegas.
"Well appointed rooms, cheaper than the strip"
Was in Vegas for a marketing summit at this hotel, so decided to stay in the same place. This was a great decision! The hotel is as good as any on the strip, but considerably cheaper, and only a few hundred yards away. The numerous restaurants are all great, the rooms very well appointed and clean. Friendly staff, a/c throughout, can't fault the place. If you decide to stay here, you MUST visit the Ghost Bar on the 55th floor of Ivory Tower. It has a balcony facing the strip and the view at night is absolutely stunning!
The front desk staff was nice and helpful. The room was just average to me, but decent enough for the price point. Average cleanliness, bed, linens. Only kind of frustrating thing was the shower stall did not have a door and it allowed water from the shower to spray out to the bathroom area.
