"Great Room, Great Property, Great Resort!"
We booked the Palms for a few reasons, one of which, Vegas was really expensive this weekend and as always the Palms was a cheaper option being off strip. We wanted to try it in any case. Check in was easy and fast and we were offered 2 different upgrades, one for 20 bucks and one for 50, normally we would take one but this time didn't. The upgrades looked fantastic but the basic room we had was great. Very modern, very clean and always made up promptly at the beginning of each day by a really friendly member of staff. Restaurants are great here and there are lots of options from a fantastically priced buffet with great food to great fine dining in Alize. This is another reason to stay here as we didn't seem to be getting charged a premium for everything we were buying. The resort being about a mile off the strip could be an issue if this is your one and only Vegas trip but with UBER costing less than 10 bucks from the Palms to any place on the strip it's really easy and not too costly to get from the Palms to where ever you want to go. The one down side, but this is the case with almost every Vegas resort hotel is the resort fee. The main pool was closed and for that extra 32 bucks a night you only get internet and the gym if you want it, but, as I said this is the case with most Vegas resorts but a lot of them keep their pool's open year round. There is a small pool at Palms Place you can use but it's pretty cold anyway. Hopefully this idiotic resort fee's will have to be added to advertised price soon' The Palms is a great option and we will be back, it's better than most the other 4 star resorts we have used and a much better option than any MGM resort now they have added in all their extra charges. Stay here over any MGM property! In summary. If you are looking for a great quality hotel in Vegas at a great price better than strip prices and are happy to take an uber to and from the strip this is a great choice with friendly staff, great rooms and great food.
"Mom's 70th Birthday!"
Thank you to Josh Boren and the Palms for being a great place to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday! It was an incredible experience that she'll be taking about for years! Beautiful casino with new games, great restaurants and stunning accommodations! She felt like the queen she is!
"Nice and Clean Resort"
Stayed for one night and front desk was really nice and welcoming for customers. Gave us really nice room with good view. Overall satisfied with quality of the room and view from the room. We would definitely plan next time.
"Decent option off the strip"
Pros 1) The rooms are spacious and the view from higher floors is amazing 2) Food is cheap but vegetarian options are limited. 3) In-house casino, eating joints and theatre 4) Well priced and clean Cons 1) Off the strip which has most of the attractions 2) Not as happening as some of the other properties in Vegas
Having stayed here several years ago we decided to re visit, the casino and hotel were very good the rooms were well decorated and comfortable, we stayed on a Sunday and the rates were really good for a property of this level. The bars had special offers on as it is football season which was welcomed compared to normal Vegas prices. We visited the buffet it was excellent and again extremely in expensive for Vegas, all in all a good hotel with good amenities, my only down was the resort fee, why in winter do we have to pay a ridiculous resort fee when the pool area is shut.
