"Amazing Wedding Weekend"
The Palms Hotel and Spa exceeded our expectations. We stayed here for our wedding weekend. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly bellman! Check-in was fast and easy. We had a beautiful ocean view room. The minute we stepped foot into our room it smelled like fresh tropical fruits. The room was clean and spacious. It had everything we needed. The beds were AMAZING. We were sleeping on fluffy clouds, we slept like babies. We loved that the Palms hotel is environmentally friendly, is going green, and they offer a lot of healthy options. We love the zen vibes this place brings. Our stay was so relaxing. On our second day we were treated to a complimentary cheese and fruit platter for our wedding day. All in all we would definitely recommend The Palms Hotel for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing weekend. We are definitely returning soon!
I stayed with my family and a newborn child in this hotel for an Easter week. The hotel was chosen based on positive reviews on Tripadvisor, unfortunately, I cannot share the same opinion. Paid almost 400 USD per night. There were a number of significant disappointments: 1. Hotel access - the hotel DOES NOT possess a ramp for a baby stroller, so parents have to manually take the stroller down abt 8 steps. The bellman at the door was completely unhelpful to my wife, whenever she would arrive with a baby in a cab or go for a walk to the streets. The parking personnel, wearing white uniform were even bigger jerks, smirking and laughing at the whole situation. You guys, have definitely to rethink your attitude towards young parents with baby strollers, either build a ramp, or offer help with the stroller. In fact, my wife preferred to get out from the hotel to the boardwalk, and THEN to the street, so she could avoid using the steps. 2. WIFI - horrible and nonexistant. On the first day, WIFI was extremely slow, and then it turned off completely. The receptionist linked that to repairs, but evern after WIFI was restored, it was still horrible. For me, who had to work during my travel, that was quite inconvenient, I had to go and buy a SIM card to get internet access, or would have to go to a board walk and use an Edition hotel free WIFI network, which was excellent. The hotel charges abt $30 daily fee which includes a charge for the WIFI, however, we were not even offered any type of compensation for a two day absence of the WIFI. 3. Food - nothing special, overcharged, even though it is presented as completely organic. Spicy Carribean chicken sandwich is just gross. 4. Beach - beach beds mattresses are dirty and worn out. The beach itself had lots of seaweed, but I guess, it was the same everywhere. 5. Elevator - VERY slow. Since there are only two of them, I would take quite a while for one to arrive. Everything else about the hotel is nothing special, rooms were clean, bed was quite comfortable, view to the city was ok. However, the walls are quite thin, and the noisy neighbours next door causes quite a lot of discomfort one night, when they had their kids run around the room at 12 am. A lot of personnel, apart from the bellman and the parking assistans were very nice and friendly. I have mixed feelings about this hotel, more on a negative side. I do not think that I will ever come back there again.
"Beautiful stay 🌴"
Our second visit to this beautiful property was again , terrific ! Our ocean view room was beautiful . We especially loved the beach crew, who made sure our chairs and umbrella were set up and waiting for us each day 🌴only negative , lots of smokers . Restaurant was nice but service a little lacking . Overall , a nice , relaxing week . Would go for a third year !
Top notch grounds, room and wonderful service. Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and Noemi was our waitress. She was fabulous. I highly recommend the Palms. There was absolutely nothing to. It love about The Palms.
"20th Wedding Anniversary in Miami Beach"
We were looking for a place on the beach that was close enough to the South Beach area but not right in the middle of it. Miami Beach is exactly the spot you should stay at if you are looking for a nice beach, relaxing atmosphere, but close enough to all of the activities on South Beach. The Palms Hotel & Spa was a very nice hotel, with easy access to the beach and great customer service. A huge thank you to Karina Jureko for helping me plan a few surprises for my wife during our stay at the hotel. Our room was on the 8th floor with a complete view of the pool and the ocean. While we did not have a balcony, we were able to enjoy the views of the ocean. Access to the beach is extremely easy and right outside the secured back gate on the property. There is a great maintained boardwalk that runs parallel to the beach for miles, allowing you a great place to walk, run, or even ride a bike. Other amenities at the hotel include a nice pool, spa, exercise facility, 1 restaurant, and a business and conference center. Our room wasn't real spacious, but we didn't spend a lot of time in it either. Smaller bathroom and sleeping space, but the bed was comfortable and the room was very well taken care of and very clean. If we go back to the Miami area, we would definitely choose this property again.
