On the whole, Parklane Hotel is a good hotel with good services and in an excellent location in Hong Kong for shopping and business with plenty of shops, MTR close to the hotel and the services at the counter are very good, especially the young lady called Cat at the Check in & Check out counter helped us a lot.Comment of W. "In a good area for shops"
This hotel is in the Causeway bay area and is right in the middle of the shopping and restaurant area. There is some renovation work being carried out (Feb 2017) but the hotel is functioning well. Our room was spacious but lacked natural light,
From the moment we walked in and were greeted by the check in staff to the moment we left this was a great hotel. The rooms are large and well appointed and we had a view over Victoria Park. The breakfasts are the best I have had anywhere - the choice is amazing for both Western and Eastern foods. Well located near to the Causeway Bay subway so easy access to the rest of Hong Kong.
"FYI for runners: only 3 treadmills. Hairdryer located on the other side of the room from a mirror"
Nice hotel and well located for shopping, with several malls nearby. Asked for a room with a view, and was sold an upgrade to the executive floor. There was indeed a view from the room... of a field. I guess I should have been more specific! The hairdryer was located in the desk area, well away from any mirrors, which seems a bit of a design flaw. I had to ask whether there was even a hairdryer in the room, having looked in every other drawer and cupboard for it. A note for runners: on Monday morning at 6AM the hotel gym's three treadmills were already in use, with no notices asking guests to limit their time. Good for those who are able to find a free treadmill and want a long indoor run, but a challenge for those waiting. The executive lounge provided food in the evening and at breakfast. The selection is not vast, but I found it enough to mean I did not need to eat elsewhere. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly; excellent service.
"Excellent Executive Club Rooms and locations"
We were spoiled while staying at the Executive Club rooms on the Executive Club floor on level 22 with excellent views of Victoria Park and the Harbour. The room was spacious and the bed sufficiently comfortable. That bath tub and rain shower was pampering with Pullman standard toiletries from Co Bigelow. The executive lounge has a very impressive breakfast spread. Unfortunately for us we didn't have time for afternoon tea or evening cocktails. Staying on an executive club room means you can skip checking in on the ground floor which may get crowded at times. You can head straight up to the lounge on level 22 and check in there comfortably. The executive club rooms on level 21 and 22 have been refurbished and we absolutely love them! You have to head up to Skye Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. The degustation menu for dinner is excellent and you have to add on the wine pairing. An experiential dining venue that is worth it given the excellent food, pairing and views. Make reservations as it gets crowded. The outdoor bar area is nice too unless it is too cold. The location of this hotel is excellent. Located above IKEA, near a 24 hour Wellcome supermarket and a stone's throw from Victoria Park, Causeway Bay MTR, SOGO and the shopping district. I left my heart at The Park Lane Hotel, a Pullman Hotel.
"Great check-in services"
The hotel facilities were a bit old, but the services are excellent, especially at the check-in. Staffs were very friendly and helpful! And the location of the hotel is super convenient. Thank you very much, Cat, for your great services!!!
