Have stayed at the Park Tower for many years when visiting London. All of the rooms are a very decent size in view of the proportions of the hotel and the service is great. The location is fabulous being right next to Harvey Nichols, Hyde Park and Knightsbridge Tube station. The best part of the hotel though is the wonderful Guests Relations Manager - Celeste Dos Santos- who absolutely goes out of her way to help you in every way. Celeste has been at the hotel for 30 years and such consistency really helps with making your stay the very best. Best all around hotel in London!
"Terrible idea "
This hotel needs to be renovated.. Although the location of the hotel is excellent but the rooms are smelly and furniture is old. Room service were not cleaning the rooms properly, towels in the bathroom had a terrible smell and seemed dirty. I don't recommend anyone to book their stay at this hotel when visiting London!
Myself and friends booked here for a Christmas treat. What a terrible idea that turned out to be! Firstly we were sat in the hotel lobby, not a restaurant or the bar area. The service was extremely slow with us only receiving sandwiches after an hour and half of being there and even the bread was stale on some of these. We were informed that our waitress had gone home mid service. When asked if we could speak to a manager we were then left another 15 minutes and we had to go and find him ourselves. He apologised and got our cakes and scones. These were rock hard. We refused these. For what was meant to be a Christmas get together quickly turned into a disappointing disaster. Awful! Avoid!
When arranging for the details of our short trip to London, we already knew that we were going to stay at the specific hotel as a result of the intensely positive comments from our friends, We were proposed to book the Panoramic Room. What a view! The city at our feet! We also had the opportunity to visit One-O-One Restaurant... We strongly recommend it...
First time staying here but look forward to many future visits. This place was outstanding with beautifully decorated lobby for Christmas and an excellent lounge/restaurant. The staff was welcoming and extremely accommodating, answering all of my silly tourist questions and proving great "locals only" advice. I had a room facing the direction of Harrod's and many Embassy mansions, but I can't imagine there is a bad view from any room.
