"Our 6th stay and planning the 7th"
I'm very difficult. I'm notoriously fussy. I complain a lot. My standards are sometimes unreasonable. However I absolutely love Phuket Pavilions and from the moment the gate swings open to reveal the bamboo archway I know we can expect to be pampered and all of our needs attended to for the next few days. The GM, JC is attentive and approachable and the spa team are excellent, to the point where over the years they have become good friends. If you are looking for a romantic interlude I can't recommend this place enough. It is tranquil and far from the rowdy nightlife that is Patong. If you absolutely must have the night market/shopping experience, there is one nearby of Friday nights accessible at a reasonable cost. My only complaint is I have to wait about 360 days until we can return.
Since 2013 we've stayed at Pavilions 3 times and each time was just as good. The last time we stayed here was in June this year, as part of our honeymoon, and we're so glad that nothing has changed. Staff is still excellent all the way from check-in/out to breakfast- and spa services, even the people that came every evening for turndown service were so lovely! Everyone always anticipates your needs while being very discrete at the same time. It was nice to see some friendly faces that have been there since the beginning. I truly believe Pavilion's staff play a huge role in making a stay here an unforgettable experience. I read a previous review where somebody complained that the breakfast menu hadn't changed in 3 years. Why change something that so works well though'! The selection is fantastic, and the daily specials add that little bit of variety to it. While writing this, I noticed that there are actually two minor things that have changed since our last visit. The beach seems to have shifted or changed slightly once again'! Either way, it is still a nice beach but the facilities are still very basic (or sometimes non-existing) and the waves can be quite rough. We went once in the morning and luckily we were able to go for a swim. If you want to go swimming, just keep an eye on the wind and tide, but it's definitely possible. The second thing that has changed is the main pool, which is no longer there due to construction of their new apartments next door. Either way, why would you use a public pool if you have your own private one. I've never used it... I also don't think (and hope) that the new development is going to have any impact on Pavilions; they way I understood it will be completely separate. Yes, Pavilions is not the newest property in Phuket anymore, but with continuous maintenance here and there and assuring service and quality are always top-notch, no doubt it will remain a standout destination in itself. A special thank you to Simona, the Resident Manager and Jean Christophe, the General Manager for greeting us in person, giving us a fabulous upgrade to a Spa and Pool Penthouse and a lovely present upon check-out. We're looking forward to coming back in the not all too distant future.
"Super luxury resort with huge room size"
There is a great resort that is my third time living and obtained a great experience from it, its location is perfect for the residents who seek peace but also convenient to reach other famous attractions such as Patong, so I will recommend it to my fds by the way.
"Spectacular romantic getaway.."
If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing, romantic getaway this is the place to be. We stayed in a Penthouse villa to celebrate our 25th anniversary and were not disappointed. Our villa was spacious and very private with a great blend of modern and traditional styling. Our private pool was just incredible and the sala was the perfect place to relax with a good book and a cold drink. The food, both traditional Thai and international cuisine, was amazing and well priced for a 5 star resort, whether you ate at the restaurant or in your villa. The lush gardens throughout the resort were beautiful, and the views from the villa, restaurants and bars were spectacular. The staff were lovely, always very attentive to your needs. The personal touches really made our stay extra special. All we can say is that you should go to The Pavilions website to see all they have to offer, too many wonderful things to describe in a review.. Thank you Jean-Christophe for making such a wonderful experience possible. We hope to be back in the near future...
Was a very nice resort to stay. Very romantic and private environment. Location-wise - it is far away from Phuket town. It takes about 45 mins to get there. The closest "town" can go is the next beach "Siren". Their bar 360 is a great view point. However it is under renovation now.
