"Best hotel we have ever stayed at"
The title of this review pretty much says it all. We have stayed in some very nice hotels around the world, and this is by far the best we have ever stayed at. The rooms are mainly up the top of a very steep hill. The golf buggy from reception will take you to and from your rooms to the restaurant or reception any time you like. We actually walked up it a few times and it wasn't actually too bad! The height of the rooms means that the view from them is absolutely spectacular. We paid for the most expensive room and boy was it worth it. The room was huge as was the swimming pool, it took my 15 strokes to get across it! We kept getting lost in the room. There is no need to worry about privacy the rooms cannot be overlooked by anyone. The rooms were very well decorated and we didn't really feel the need to leave the room, which we only did for breakfast (which you could get delivered) and twice for a drink at 360. 1 night we also got a taxi to Patong as we felt as if we should experience it. It cost 800 THB there and 1000 on the way back and is about a 30 minute drive. It was OK to see but we were so glad we were well out of that area. The other times we got food delivered to the room and they always set it up beautifully. My only gripe I would say is that they charged 250 THB for room service, however the hotel is pretty much set up for you not to leave the room so felt a bit cheated by this. You can also get a BBQ or Sukothai in your room which has a higher set up fee (800 THB) but it was a very good experience. All of the staff were amazing. Valerie,in 360 was amazing, her English was absolutely perfect, having hailed from Phillippines and worked in Seychelles. She was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable even though she had only been there for 3 weeks. She is definitely a very good addition to the staff, and all of the other staff were lovely too. On departure the GM came to speak to us to make sure we had a great time and make sure everything was OK. He must have an easy job as I honestly cannot see any reason why anyone would grumble about this hotel. It will certainly take some beating to beat this! Thanks to all of the staff for an amazing stay :)
"Luxury and care in every detail"
Well imagine that im at the resort and will be checking out tomorrow but i just have the urge to take few minutes of our vacation to express how grateful we are in choosing this hotel. We stayed at villa 21 - deluxe villa facing the ocean. The villa is very spacious and it gives you the privacy that you need. It includes a big infinity pool facing the ocean that you will definitely enjoy and not worry about any noise or anybody peeking - because each villa is built in a way that provides total privacy. Room service and pick-ups from your villa is very quick. In addition, room cleaing have high attention to detail and proper cleaness from mopping the floor to organizing your stuff, they really go over and beyond hygiene. They also clean your pool every day. Moreover they come at night to prepare your bed, close bedroom curtains, bring more towels and clean the kitchen. You could also have your complimentary breakfast brought up to your room and they also serve you complimentary coffee and tea at the plantation club. Plus, the complimentary foot massage upon check-in at your room is great. You could also ask them to have a BBQ done at your pool for dinner. Lastly, their mini bar and food prices are relatively low compared to market, which i really respect given the location of the hotel. I highly recommed this resort as my wife and i really enjoyed staying here. Would definitely come back! Thank you Pavilions team for making it an amazing stay :)
This is a top class small Hotel, with individual chalets of top quality. If you are looking for somewhere where you can have total privacy, with the option of going to a private beach, but the ability to mix with other guests if you wish to then this is the place. Our chalet had an ocean view, though the Ocean is some distance, that didn't detract from the view at all. Each chalet is totally private, with its own very private pool. The chalets are set on quite a steep hill, but transport is provided by means of golf trollies, and we didn't have to wait more than a minute or two for them to arrive. We were there for three nights, and the only night we ate there we had room service. The food was really good, and my wife still talks about the Thia Green Curry, which was the best of all the curries she ate during our two weeks in Thialand.
"Great for couples, honeymooners, lovers"
The place, food, room and services were great. It's luxurious. We stayed in a deluxe pool villa. The pool was long enough for a few laps. The food was delicious. Breakfast was served in style at our choices. The bar at the top was good with semi-panoramic view. When we stayed there the place was under renovation and construction so the big common swimming pool was kind of not available. My observations were the beach is far away, not in walking distance and from time to time I had the feeling of being jailed as we couldn't move around ourselves. We had to rely on golf cart all the time. However, the place is great for "just the two of us", not for friends and families with kids.
"Amazing, Romantic Resort"
My husband and I had the opportunity to spend four days at this beautiful resort. The villa was spectacular - large, well appointed with a private pool . We had in-room spa services - they were incredibly relaxing, given by top-notch therapists. While the resort is somewhat remote, they are quick to offer shuttles around the property & service the the local areas. Food on property was delicious - offering everything from a burger to traditional Thai food. All was well prepared & we never waited more than 20 minutes for room service. Overall a romantic & wonderful experience.
