"Honeymoon in paradise "
The Pavilions Phuket would have to be the best resort in Thailand for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The food was spectacular and full of delicious flavours I've never experienced, the spa treatments were wonderful and the private pool was HUGE! If I could change anything about our stay at the Pavilions it would of been to stay longer. All the staff are so friendly and a genuineness to please their guests. Next time we visit Thailand we will definitely stay here again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"Exceptional staff service & romantic stay"
Stayed at The Pavilions with my bf for 3 days. I must say that we were extremely impressed with the level of service and attitude of the staff, regardless of whether they were the receptionists, buggy drivers, restaurant waiters/waitresses, the F&B mgr or the GM. To the GM - we would particularly like to commend one of your buggy drivers, Neung, for his welcoming attitude each time he drove us around. He always had a smile on notwithstanding rain or shine and was extremely courteous. This really warmed our hearts and stay! Next is the villa itself - we stayed in one of the Spa & Pool villas. We were immediately wowed (though it was raining on the first day we reached) by the huge space and classy decor of the exterior and interior of the villa when we stepped through the villa door. The living room + kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom are spacious and there is even a private massage/spa room connected to the living room! There is a nice 8-10m pool good for swimming laps or even just lazing around. The sundeck area is pretty spacious too. Amenities - Honestly, we didn't expect the wifi network to be so fast given that the location is rather isolated/quiet. The shampoo/conditioner/bath soap used smelled like those usually used at posh spa places. Wow again. DVDs and books can be borrowed from the afternoon tea place. Breakfast and afternoon tea - buffet breakfast + anything from the breakfast menu, all included. We surely didn't expect that. I must say we had two great days of hearty breakfast. Free afternoon tea from 3.30 to 4.30pm is available daily too. The couple of cons we would like to feedback would be the cleanliness of the exterior "pavilion" at the sundeck area. It was pretty dirty the day we reached (understood since it was raining that day) but we realised that it wasn't cleaned up the second day though there was housekeeping done. Not too sure why but we would love to sit in the "pavilion" to read and laze around. We felt that it was a waste not to use it. The dinner food was also so-so at the main restaurant. Breakfast was good though. Re location, it is quite isolated, not really near to anywhere but the hotel would help you get a cab to anywhere you want. It is about ten min drive to a small town nearby which has some cafes and restaurants. If you don't intend to go out much, this quiet place is really good for you. Overall, the stay at The Pavilions was really relaxing and romantic for the both of us. Worth a stay.
"The pavilion is more than awesome"
Every thing is more than perfect... I hope to come back again with my husband I love the place. The ocean villa is like a dream it's so beautiful and especially the candle light dinner is so romantic and so delicious.
"The Perfect place "
We had just arrived home after spending 9 fantastic days staying at The Pavilions just off Layan beach. We could not have planned a better holiday if we tried everything and everyone made our stay so memorable and pleasurable we cannot express how grateful we were to be able to spend our holiday in such a wonderful resort. Our penthouse spa villa was superb and the service was first class you could just watch the days pass you by sitting in your pool relaxing to the peace and quite or eating a fantastic meal in your villa or the great restaurants and bars with the stunning views of the surrounding hills and beaches. Every day was a new experience the staff were so accommodating and helpful and really made you feel so special they are the nicest people who just go about their au without an fuss and nothing is to hard their smiles and beautiful way is something that you really don't see much anymore. To Jean and his entire team we just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our time with you and look forward to seeing you next year. You made our holiday something that we will remember for a long time. The property Is located high up in the hills about 40 minutes from the hussle and bussel of Patong beaches bars and nightlight. But you can have the best of both worlds hit the party towns or relax in your villa and only hear the birds and tranquil silence which is bliss. We had both and enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it to couples looking to reignite that flame its perfect for passion romance or just wanting to recharge your batteries of life. Every morning their was a different phrase inside the brekkie menu which was a true reflection of life and having a great balance of work and play. Our time at The pavilions allowed us the time to put both into perspective. The perfect place with the most beautiful people. Mark & Melissa July 2015
"Normally a 5, 4 this stay"
We love Pavilions and this was our 4th or 5th stay. We keep coming back, like others, for the tranquility and beautiful pool villas with adjoining spa and generally feeling very special. We love that the spa ladies come to you and you just step through a door into your own private spa room. We also love that the resort does not gauge you on prices, which is a really nice touch - the mini bar is at local bar prices. Yes, the room rates are expensive but unlike many other expensive resorts, this isn't used as an excuse to charge through the nose for food and drinks. We also enjoy the breakfast which includes champagne cocktails, a buffet of cereals and pastries and hot dishes to order - so much more personal than just a buffet. Service is always attentive, friendly and quick to correct anything and perks for returning guests are great (as long as you book via email). A word of warning at the moment - there is construction in part of the site and it is pretty disruptive if you are planning a relaxing time in your villa near by. There are no warnings on the website and you are not warned if your villa is next to it - ours was. We did not complain until it intruded on a private dinner we had booked in our villa on our last evening. Granted it was stopped within 10minutes and guest relations were apologetic the next morning (unprompted - another nice touch that the resort strives to make your experience a personal one). In hind sight, we should have complained much earlier in our stay and asked to be moved. So a warning to other guests - beware the construction this off season! There are also a few concerning signs this trip - the 3 night package no longer includes dinner, but cocktails and tapas instead (although I preferred this option as I like to head out to dinner as well) and the car service that used to shuttle us to restaurants nearby seems to have been discontinued in favour of local taxis which charge very high fares for Thailand for very short journeys. We are really hoping this is a blip rather than a trend as this is our favourite resort so far in our 5 years in Asia.
