"Classy hotel with superb service"
This was our first stay at a Peninsula property (given their limited number of properties), but certainly won't be our last. The hotel has a great location in Beverly Hills, and has a classy, luxurious vibe that manages to not be overly blingy. The Living room and Belvedere restaurants in particular feel like a classy home. Service and food at the hotel are superb, and special touches such as our initials on the pillowcase and special "sleep water" left near the bed were particularly memorable. Rooms were well-appointed with excellent bathrooms. The hotel also several complimentary cars (Mercedes S550 and Rolls Royce Ghost) that take guests to nearby areas. A few minor issues; a few of the items in the fruit bowl in our room had some mold, and a couple of items that were to be delivered to our room were forgotten, and we had to go down to the concierge desk to retrieve them. All in all, this hotels reputation as one of the best properties in the U.S. is well deserved.
"Very central, yet just far enough away..."
We just spent one night at the Peninsula for a quick trip to the Petersen museum. The service was impeccable. The location is great for shopping Rodeo Drive, visiting the Tar Pits, The Petersen, and lots more. All of the staff went out of their way to make our stay great. The Rolls Royce hotel car is a great option for transportation for dining/shopping near the hotel. The hotel is very close to BH shopping, but tucked away.
"Best hotel in the world"
My job is selling privat planes to who can afford it. So I stay on my sells trip in the finest top hotels in the world. But the Peninsula is for sure the best in the world. Everything is just so posh, I love it. You don't need to ask for something, they already know what you want. The staff is very outgoing and walk the extra mile. I just love the Peninsula, because I always close a deal. Thank you for such a great hospitality. See you soon....
This is our LA home; very luxurious, great food (belvedrere &roof garden), extremely nice room; we love the pillows w/our monograms Offer Nissenbaum is a superb manager; this sets the tone all over Car service from LAX is great (Ericka meets us at luggage carousel; she is great) told us ahead of check-in that the dinner we ordered will move from rained-in roof garden to belvedere. Car service to LAX, 2 says before Thanksgiving, was a masterpiece of circumventing traffic jam (mr. Katsu) There is a a hotel car for short (1-mile or less) trips from/to hotel; works very well. Roof garden gave my wife a warm blanker on a cold afternoon; very much appreciated; they recalled we like loose tea, not bags.
"Living the Life"
This luxurious and service-oriented hotel is the perfect place for your Beverly Hills stay. The rooms are large and well-appointed. The Roof Garden presents a perfect location to enjoy the balmy California weather at breakfast, lunch or dinner. Adjacent to the Roof Garden is the pool with cabanas, hot tub and fire pit. These features all overlook the LA skyline. The spa has excellent services and the staff in the spa are very attentive. There are mini muffins, nuts and ginger tea in the relaxation room to enjoy while awaiting your service. The hotel is around the corner from shopping on Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive. If you can afford it, this hotel is a perfect base for your stay in Beverly Hills/LA.
