Very central location in front of City Hall, metro entrance just on the corner of building, gym and pool located in next door building (back entrance), breakfast is excellent, rooms in very good shape (hotel was completely renovated) despite of 40 years anniversary. So it is the right place to have luxury stay in Seoul
A 40 odd year old hotel now part of the Marriott group. Good location, nice big rooms, recent refurb, one of the few airport bus stop hotels, great staff and service, nice breakfast. Definitely one to return to
"The place to be"
Very nice entrance hall, but two exits confused me and my drivers where to meet. Surrounding is very nice. Some palace like city wall gate, some official government buildings around and a typical Asian market, food street and "'fake'" (no, of course not, cheap but very good quality) market. Few bars, lots of restaurants and business clubs in walking distance. Hotel rooms are upscale standard Korean typical electronic curtain open/closing panel as well as toilet with automatic back injection. You should start with low level water pressure! ;-). No tooth brush or tooth paste for free but a bottle of water is mandatory. The breakfast has buffet of American Standards. Austrian cheese, local salmon, lots of fruits and veggies. Asian soups, noodles etc of course.
"All is good except late charge"
Hotel location is convenient to get around for cheap by subway as being next to City Hall station. Taxis are affordable in Seoul however. For Incheon airport, you can buy airport bus ticket for KRW16K per way as of Oct 2016 from the hotel. Hotel room is a tad small but modern and very functional with bed-side touch-screen control and good shower. Nice Molton Brown toilettries. Bath towels don't look very white and can be fluffier. Buffet breakfast was delicious. Room rate was reasonable. Check-in was great as hotel managed to give me a room at 10am. Check-out took only 3 minutes. Basically all is excellent except that for some reason, hotel hasn't charged my credit card after 10 days of check-out which is a hassle as it was my business stay & I need to claim expenses with the company.
"Great location and fantastic spa."
This hotel is very well located walking distance to the imperial palace. Rooms are small but i got one with an additional living room area. Looks kid of old and cold. The spa is located at the adjacent building a two story gym with big pool and spa, the sauna has a large window and you can see the whole city from this 20 floor.
