This hotel is located in the centre of New York's historic Arts District at 57th and 6th avenue. It has for decades reverberated with great music, swooned with great dance and been inspired by great art. Carnegie Hall, one of the most famous concert halls in the world, can be found just around the corner. Guests will also reach Central Park and a tourist area in a few moments on foot. LaGuardia airport is 7 km away whilst it is around 18 km to John F. Kennedy airport.

"Good NY option"
Great location in the heart of midtown with great service and staff. Early checkin was provided for free and a room upgrade to a larger room. Will probably stay here again although price is more than others.
"Great location and even better service."
I just took by 5-year-old granddaughter to the city for the first time. She was filled with amazement and had a wonderful time. The Quin was a key component of what made the weekend so enjoyable. It started with a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. No pretentious behavior like many 5 star hotels, but doorman and counter associates who were warm and welcoming. A nice touch was the door bell ringing shortly after we checked into our room with the offer of a stuffed animal for her to have! Since the staff knew from check in why we were in the city, several of the employees made a point to ask my granddaughter how her day was going or what she had seen. I would highly recommend this hotel. A great location just two blocks south of Central Park, made it easy to walk around mid-town. The room was clean and well kept up as you would expect. We would certainly stay again and be happy to recommend it to anyone looking for a smaller boutique hotel with great service.
"Terrific stay at The Quin"
We stayed at The Quin for a special birthday celebration for my mother. The staff went above and beyond to make this a wonderful occasion for my family. Looking forward to another opportunity to stay at this beautiful hotel. Thank you!
"Excellent location, but questionable service this time..."
(This review is more more management than anyone else)This was the 3rd time in 1 year that we stayed at The Quin. Excellent location is unquestionable, and friendly accommodating staff. This visit we were in room 309 and I recommend you avoid any room in the 09 line. Very small room and you need gymnast-like skills to get in and out of the bathroom. I was additionaly disappointed because of short comings by staff to assist us with 2 problems we had in our room. 1) The channel list card in the room did not match the actual channels on the television. Front desk said that they would get it fixed because what they had did not match what was actually on TV either. Engineer came up without understanding the problem and then never returned, and we never heard back from the front desk. 2) The rainfall shower had an obvious drip which made the shower smell like mold. I brought it to front desks attention; They came in and kudos for replacing the splash guard which really needed to be changed, but that resulted in the door not closing properly and for the rest of our stay water leaked out and ran onto the bathroom floor (shower head drip was not fixed). When I mentioned the drip again I was offered to move room, but at this point we were settled in, so we put up with a shower that dripped, smelled like mold, and leaked out onto the bathroom floor for another 2 days. As I said, disappointed with service. Tried the gym for the first time and it was pretty good for a small hotel gym. Had the pleasure of speaking to Danny again on our way out (met Danny in September 2016). Visiting NYC again soon, may try elsewhere after recent shortcomings. Other than that, great hotel!
"Would highly recommend"
We stayed for a week at the Quin and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The room we stayed in was a good size, clean and the wifi was of a good quality. We found the staff to be excellent and sorted out any issues immediately (for example, there was no kettle in the room when we arrived, but they delivered one asap). We asked several questions of the concierge which were answered promptly, and they also made several dinner recommendations and bookings for us. The location is excellent, being in walking distance of many key tourist locations - including Central Park, Times Square and the Rockefeller centre. Otherwise, there are two subway stops nearby. Would highly recommend.
