The Rembrandt is perfectly positioned to explore the local area. With the V&A Museum opposite the hotel, The Natural History Museum and The Science Museum only 5 minutes away and Harrods, Harvey Nichols and other designer shops within a 10 minute walk. South Kensington tube station (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines) is only few minutes walk away making The Rembrandt the perfect base for London. From the South Kensington tube you can access all the large mainline stations, such as Paddington (trains for Heathrow), Victoria (trains for Gatwick), Charing Cross and Liverpool Street to name but a few.
We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel whose staff were attentive and helpful. The only minor criticisms were that the dining room wasn't open for dinner most nights, though you could get a restricted menu in the lounge bar, and that there was no butter knife on the table at breakfast, meaning you had to keep hold of the knife you'd used for your cooked breakfast. However, as we say, these were only minor irritations in what was a very enjoyable seven nights at the hotel.Comment of B. Cassandra , United Kingdom the 2015-09-02

Ideal hotel for visits to museums, Harrods and Royal Albert Hall. A short walk away from South Kensington tube station which enables easy access to anywhere in the city in a short while. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. Our visit was to see the display of poppies at the Tower which was wonderful.Comment of S. Elizabeth , United Kingdom the 2014-10-19

Fantastic experience, hotel gave an upgrade to celebrate 25th wedding anniversary, terrific room with view across to the Victoria and albert museum. Location great, hotel staff great, room great, this will be our hotel every time we come to LondonComment of B. Chris , United Kingdom the 2014-07-18
We have visited the Rembrandt several times. The hotel is well looked after and the staff friendly. The location is excellent being near museums and with tube access to the city from South Kensington on three lines. A nice addition to our room this time was a jacuzzi bath in the bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean and the cost was very reasonable.Comment of W. Nigel , United Kingdom the 2014-07-17
Ottimo il collegamento a Piccadilly Circus con il bus 14. Colazione splendida. Proprio accanto ai migliori musei.Comment of M. Massimo , Italy the 2014-07-02
We recently stayed 10 days at The Rembrandt. It was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the South Kensington tube stop and less than a block from the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Natural History and Science Museum. Our room was always spotless, the bathroom was huge for a hotel in London: spring for the executive king room. It is completely worth it. The bath had a whirlpool tub, great shower, heated towel rack, and in-room safe. The mini-bar was well-stocked and the prices were in-line with the convince stores we passed on the street or in the tube stops. The closet needs a few more hangers, but the drawer space was more than adequate for the two of us. There is a complimentary full English breakfast with great staff and a filling meal with enough variety to keep us engaged for 10 days. We also ate in the hotel restaurant a few times after returning late from a concert or show. The service was excellent and the sandwiches in the bar area were delicious and reasonably priced. The front desk was helpful and accommodating. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time; the hotel stored our luggage while we stretched our legs in the neighborhood. I felt very safe in the area, even as a woman alone at night. There were good restaurants near the hotel: exceptional Chinese and Thai food along with lots of snack possibilities. After a long day, it was a pleasure to come "home" to the hotel. We will definitely book this hotel on a return visit to London. We highly recommend The Rembrandt.Comment of S. "Best Place to Stay in London!!"
We spent 4 nights at the Lovely Rembrandt Hotel and can't say enough about our stay! The hotel was lovely, rooms are perfectly nice and appropriate, but the staff and the location really made this hotel ideal. The location is perfect to getting around the city, so much within walking distance, and also centrally located to everything you would want to see. The staff were amazing!! I cannot say enough about the concierges, they know their stuff and ensured we had the best of everything. They even got us tickets to a sold out Theater show on a Saturday Night! Stay at this hotel - you will not be disappointed!
"Stayed for a week-November 2016"
My second visit to the hotel was in a "double" bed room for a week in November 2016. In fact, the room was a queen bed and overall the room was a good size for a London hotel room. I would have appreciated more drawer space but we made do. Bathroom small but well appointed with lots of counter space. Room cleaned to a high standard. Be prepared for noisy hallways if you are in the middle of the hallway-the building is old and the passages are narrow. Doors on some guest rooms slam shut (loudly). Bed was not firm but hard-again we made do. Service was excellent in all areas-front desk, housekeeping, dining room and of course the Concierge. Location wonderful and how nice to have black cabs in abundance. South Ken tub station 5 mins walk away.
"Great location, Small Rooms"
We had three nights here, and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly, breakfast was included and really good, with a full buffet, and specials that could be ordered for no extra charge. Right across the road from the V & A Museum, and really close to upmarket shops, and the peacefulness of Hyde Park. The only thing to be aware of ( and I wouldn't say it was a negative), is that the rooms are really small. We struggled to get two suitcases in and still be able to move around the room!
This hotel is First Class the rooms are perfect and the service is first class. The position of the hotel is perfect just a 5 minute walk to Harrods and also to the tube Knightsbridge tube station. The Victoria and Albert Museum are directly across the road and also the bus stop for the Hop on Hop off buses going round London.
This is my 5-6 time staying at this hotel Everything was great, checkin fast I was assigned to room 137, over looking the Victoria nd Albert Museum (my fav view) Room was spotless clean and bed was comfortable. We had breakfast every day and it was great.many choices, waiter and waitress fast and freindly. I had room service and it came fast and tasted great. This hotel is minutes from Harrods and Harvey nichols. minutes to South Kenington station. The hotel called me a car to get to Heathrow, i did not like the driver as he drove way to fast, tailgated and yelled at people and then yelled at someone on this cell phone when he should have watched the road, the the hotels fault but I didnt like it
