We stayed 3 nights in November. the rooms were clean as you would expect in a hotel of this standard. The staff were very good and I would stay here again. We dined out but the menu looked quite good and breakfast was also very good
Highly recommended , clean and very accommodating staff..would stay again... quite, good for family ... reasonable price as compared to other RitZ in the area, close enough to restaurants and the beach .
"A Wedding Celebration"
A magical experience spending the weekend here, culminating in my grandson's wedding at the Ritz Carlton ballroom. Truly, a glowing memory to last a lifetime! This boutique hotel is stunning and the entire staff was warm and welcoming
Piano playing and a great meal were the perfect combination for our Christmas Diner in 2014. But it did not stop there, we continue to visit the lounge at Ritz Carlton many times after that for the years to follow. They have great cocktails for a last minute night of fun in town.
Upon arrival, the staff greeting from valet to check-in was very pleasant. Our bags were sent to our room because we wanted to eat lunch. The bar was directly in the lobby which I liked because it keeps it interesting to see people come and leave the hotel. What I found odd was that dinner was also served in the lobby and breakfast and lunch were served in a different room down the hall, which was a nice setting. I didn't care for the mixing of lobby guests and a dinner setting in the same room. One night there was a wedding party reception held in the lobby area and the noise was over-powering for the bar guests. We could hardly hear ourselves talk. Not a good mixture. There should be a separate room off to the side for dining/receptions at that location. Even if it's off the lobby and glassed in, that would be fine, but I would not like to come from my room to the lobby to have a relaxing dinner surrounded by all that noise. The Spa facilities were nice and the pool bar was ok. It was a small pool bar. The lobby bar was beautiful and a great place to meet the locals or the hotel residence. Very pleasant to sit at and socialize. Hassan Chatila was an exceptional bartender. He's like the Mayor of The Ritz in Coconut Grove. The area is 1 block away from shopping and quaint restaurants and cafe's. Great get-away place for the weekend, but not sure if I would return. My boyfriend said it was poor value for money and we stay at different Ritz locations frequently.
