"Great experience in central Dubai"
Ritz Carlton DIFC offers immaculate customer experience with professionalism and attention to detail. The staff are extremely courteous and genuinely make an effort to please the guests. Highly recommended if you want to stay close to the center of Dubai while avoiding the sometimes crowded Downtown
"Would not hesitate to stay here again!"
It's the Ritz, so you expect good service and beautiful surroundings. They did not disappoint. The staff was excellent. In particular, Jane at the concierge desk. She went above and beyond at every opportunity! The room was well appointed, although I would suggest a few more electrical outlets (pet peeve)! The sheets were awesome and the towels were a great size. The bunch at the cafe was beyond extravagant. We loved every bite. Just plan on 3 hours, at least. Go and enjoy!!!
"Great hotel, terrible restaurant service"
Hotel was beautiful, well maintained, extremely comfortable beds but an experience at the cafe located inside the hotel left a bad taste in my mount. Over an hour for 3 orders of pancakes to come out, then she drop a plate full of pancakes, whipped cream and a side of maple syrup all over my pants and my expensive loafers. Waitress apologized, manager never came over and we were still left with the bill for the full amount. Later the front desk comped it during check out but I have a pair of ruined loafers that had a ton of sentimental value to me and it was an unfortunate experience at such a luxurious hotel.
Very good and luxury hotel with exptional service the rooms are spacious nicely decorated tea kattle and cups available nice collection of fresh fruit on arrival the breakfast is something special buffet of all kinds of food in a special arrangement fresh juice on arrival to the breakfast room. The hotel not far from dubai airport 25 minutes.
"Memorable New Year visit"
Ordinarily, on my visits to Dubai I stay at the JW Marriott Marquis. On this occasion, however, I opted for the Ritz-Carlton in the DIFC as the JW Marriott Marquis was being unreasonable over the issue of short stays and points redemption over New Year. The Ritz Carlton, on the other hand, was happy to offer a 2 night stay (using points) over New Year. I was warmly greeted at the airport and escorted to the hotel promptly. Check-in was a little slow and chaotic. There were lots of guests- none of whom appreciated the concept of queuing- and the check-in staff were overwhelmed, That having been said, the whole time I was waiting I was accompanied by a very polite and cheerful bellman who looked after me and my luggage. Mr room was not ready upon check-in but I only had to wait a short time for it to be prepared. The hotel lobby was wonderfully decorated with a nice Christmas tree. The guest room was excellent- very spacious, incredibly comfortable and contained all the amenities and conveniences I would expect from a hotel of this sort. The only dining options I availed were through room service. The choice of food and drink available was good and breakfast was well presented and tasty. The hotel's proximity to the DIFC complex is very convenient. The staff were very helpful, friendly and courteous throughout. My only real disappointment is that platinum Marriott Reward's members are not, as a rule, permitted to use the Club Lounge. I appreciate that the brands are different but I do think that if you are a loyal Marriott member- to that degree- the privilege of Club Lounge access should be extended to you. Overall, however, a very pleasant stay and I would certainly consider returning to this property during future trips to Dubai.
