"Fantastic Property and Service"
I have now stayed numerous times at this hotel over the past two years so my comments are based on not one, but rather several visits. This is a world class hotel. Period. The level of service is excellent and consistent. From check-in, bars / restaraunts, club level (in particular the club level staff!!), room cleaning - it is all fantastic. The club level staff really strive to get to know you and your expectations. Overall, everybody is helpful and fiendly. The property itself is stunning. With the lobby on the 103rd flor of the ICC building and the stunning pool / fitness area on the 118th floor, you are pretty much gauranteed a stunning view of central or the harbor, of course weather permitting. The rooms are immaculate and spacious. Last stayed in room 107 07 and it was elegantly appointed and roomy. Bed was very comfortable and again, room cleaning was great. The location makes it very easy to get to Central, just one stop on the very effecient MTR. There is a lot to do and see on the Kowloon side (Lady's Market,Night Market, TST, etc...) so being on the Kowloon is actually a good thing and again, very easy to get to Central. There are excellent restaurant choices and the Ozone Bar on top of the hotel is very nice. The hotel is alo attached to the Elements mall which offers dining alternatives as well, many very affordable. I will be returing to this hotel when I go back to Hong Kong.
"Excellent experience all around"
My wife and I had a really nice three-day stay at the hotel. First things first, it should be mentioned that the views from the room on the 110th floor were just amazing. Even though it was a bit cloudy during our first two days of stay, visibility from the room was pretty good, and I could only imagine what it would be like on a sunny day, just gorgeous! We traveled for business (meeting venues being at adjoining W hotel and RC ballroom) and location wise the hotel was just perfect, easy to get to as well as to explore the Island with an easy subway ride. Hotel is conveniently located above Kowloon station, and it takes approximately 25 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport. From Kowloon station it takes about ten minutes of walking and escalator riding within the upscale mall to get to the lobby (103rd floor if I remember correctly) of the hotel, yep that’s how easy it is. Apart from the convenient location, staff is probably the biggest asset of the hotel, always friendly, with a smile and attentive to all the needs one might have. Ms. Ani certainly stood out with her genuine warmheartedness to welcome us as hotel guests. After a quick check in, she walked us around the hotel premises, gave us a very useful tips on the dining options (which we enjoyed later on) and also accompanied us to our room ensuring that everything was ready for our stay. She was also very knowledgeable about Hong Kong and gave us very good tips on where to do some shopping. So if anyone stays at the hotel and runs into Ani, be assured that you end up in very caring and professional hands. Apart from great views, hospitality, and location the hotel has the best spot for panoramic views and really cool cocktails at the Ozone bar! Enjoy☺
Staff are amazing views are amazing. Best place to stay in HK worth the upgrade to Club rooms the facilities are great.Pool facilities have endless views outside spas on 118 floor Close to Metro easy to use its directly underneath hotel.
"Very nice stay - harbour view room"
Rooms on the 115th floor and higher have advantages and disadvantages when it comes to the view; On cloudy or foggy days, you don´t see even the ground. Fortunately the weather got better. The hotel is great with high service quality. So the price overall is justified. Dining in the Tosca on 102nd floor is convenient, gives you also a unique view and as a hotel gest you get a window table. The bar on the top is cool and you can enjoy a marvelous view over Hongkong island while sipping a cocktail.
"Most horrendous crime is satying at this hotel."
Bad service. Bad restaurants. Bad service. Horrible restaurants. No one understands what you're tying to say no matter how many times and the different way you try to explain, the hotel and their staff always disappoint. I'm so over Ritz Carlton for any location now. GM is not available, of course, 8-5 job. No management is in charge since I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. Will never return to any of its affiliates, SPG or Marriott. I'm beyond disappointed. Breakfast is horrible compared to other RC. The room is small for a suite. The view is opaque due to the thick glass and dirty. (Glass hasn't been cleaned) Brought luggage so could be sent to room and after 1 hour, it hadn't arrived. (Went to get it myself) Restaurant has bad policy for sitting. For such an "iconic" building, it's below any other place out there. Elevators are too crowded and the temperature is too hot. (Everyone is sweating because it's hot and of course, the humidity) Guests are not really treated as such for reservation purposes. Why even stay here' Management is not available when needed. They are sorry for everything, I mean, everything, but doesn't help as they do not correct anything. Can't wait to get out of here!😡
