"Top place to stay in Hong Kong (no pun intended)"
I stayed at the Hong Kong Ritz Carlton (RC-HK) for the first time from September 29 to October 4, 2016. Prior to this stay, I had always stayed at the Peninsula Hotel each time i visited Hong Kong. RC-HK is a fantastic hotel with incredible view and absolutely top flight staff, especially the Club Floor Lounge. I particularly want to recognize Laura there because each time I came to the Lounge (frequently as we did most of our business there) with my team (three of us), she always greeted us with a beaming smile and remember our names, what we like to have and where we usually prefer to sit . The food presentation is the best among all Ritz Carlton Hotels I have stayed (I am a Ritz Carlton Platinum member and had stayed this past year at various RC hotels from Istanbul to Shanghai, Miami, NYC, etc etc). Jack at the Club Lounge went out of his way to help us find the best one day visit plan to Macau and the Lobby Concierge Desk was most helpful with various logistics needs we experienced. The room was well appointed, spacious, and full of premium amenities. The housekeeping staff was superb. The door linked automatic window curtain really impressed me. Two minor draw back about this hotel. When I stayed at the Peninsula, the Hotel coordinated airport pick up always met me at the plane door with a big sign and golf cart to avoid long long walk in the vast airport and their red jacket airport staff "guide" us through Immigration etc. It was always totally painless. We arranged Ritz Carlton Airport pick up and the RC-HK airport pick up staff totally missed us. So we had to find a taxi to get us to the hotel. The Hotel elevators tend to get crowded for unknown reason and we had stayed at many different five star hotels around the world and in the USA, the RC-HK hotel is the only one we had to get in a waiting line for the elevators! Other than those two things, this is the best hotel in my book.
I have stayed in the very best hotels in the world, but this really tops them all. The view from my room on floor 117 was unbelievable. The hard product was incredible. The service was out of the world. This is hotel perfection. The only drawback about staying in this hotel is that it is such a great experience you don't want to go out. There is also a swimming pool on the very top floor with an indoor/ outdoor deck area. There is a nice gymnasium too.
"Views that make you never want to leave"
Had a wonderful time at this property while visiting Hong Kong on Vacation. I spent the first week of my vacation in Los Angeles playing golf and this was the second half. This was my first time in Hong Kong and at this property and it was such a delight. I had the pleasure of utilizing the club lounge and this was certainly my highlight of the property. Attention to detail, warm conversation, prompt service, great food, and spectacular views sum up what this lounge is all about. I can't wait for another opportunity to visit again!
"Magnificent view and first class Service "
A surprise staycation over valentines day/anniversary and the hotel was very sweet with the romantic welcome setup. The staff at front desk was very pleasant and thoughtful. We absolutely enjoyed the magnificient view of Hong kong from our room. Watching sunset from the pool/jacuzzi was surreal. The room was spacious, posh furnished and well maintained. Location is conveniently next to the mall with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Would Definitely come back and highly recommend for anyone wanna have a special stay in hk.
My partner and I visited The Ritz Carlton as part of our Honeymoon in May. We were very indecisive selecting a hotel as they all looked so amazing and HK was somewhere that I had wanted to visit for many years, so it just had to be perfect, The Upper House and Mandarin Oriental were close favourites. It’s located in Kowloon a part of the Elements Mall – the location is absolutely fine, especially in terms of getting around, most places are a 5-10 minute taxi ride away or the Metro is located inside the mall which is also very easy to use. This hotel is on another level, so glad we selected it. I am a huge fan of views, therefore the Ritz Carlton is unbeatable. Furnishing, amenities, spa, staff, food and the layout are all on point, although is slightly on the expensive side. During our stay we visited Ting Lung Heen and the O Zone Bar – both excellent and recommended. Really wish we had time for the Tosca brunch but there is always next time. I have to say that three members of staff really stood out and made our stay unforgettable, Roshni, such a lovely, gracious and helpful girl. Always pleased to see us and full of great conversation. Ishwan, also very helpful from the moment we met him and had great recommendations for us and last but not least the amazing Kozen (Duty Manager) – you made our stay spectacular. All the surprises and extra’s honestly blew us away.. you made our trip truly amazing and something that we will never forget. Definitely the best place to stay in town… we will be back!
