The staff at the Ritz Carlton were fantastic, very professional, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble plus everyone had a smile on their face and several staff said it was a great place to work with a lot of pride. My only problem was the staff kept telling my wife ideas for shopping (lol) I would definitely stay at the Ritz again.Comment of N. Alan , Australia the 2015-09-24
Really enjoyed my stay. Had a slight hiccup on registration but the staff went above and beyond to resolve the issue and make sure we had a great experience there.Comment of P. Shahzeb , Australia the 2015-09-14

I stayed the last week of November 2016 for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom suite. I had a terrible experience. Things were off to a poor start when we walked into the hotel and nobody offered to take our luggage. The doorman just watched us walk by without even an acknowledgment. Fortunately we didn't have much, but this is a serious error on the part of a luxury hotel. We checked in. Things went quickly. We were not shown to our room as one would have expected in such a hotel, especially considering we had a 2 bedroom suite. We walked into the room and looked around. The room was extremely shabby: the couches were ripped up, stains on the floor, and even a door handle fell off! My wife called down to butler services and they had to be convinced to move us to another room! After some convincing, they finally agreed. And they sent someone over to move us to another room. This room was better; no broken door handles at least. The decor was more updated and things were in their proper place. The bed was comfortable and the layout was good. Still, there were stains on the carpet (that's what damage deposits are for!) and the windows were filthy.Though content with the second room, it was a hassle to have to go through the whole process. They should have inspected the initial room and should have ensured that no guest went through what we did. For the next few days we enjoyed the room. We were supposed to get a bottle of wine with the room, but we don't drink alcohol, so we requested a substitute of juice. No effort was made until my wife hounded them to provide it. Finally on the last evening of our stay, we received the juice. We ordered room service a few times. The traditional offerings were good, but the western offerings were embarrassing. One morning my wife ordered Belgian waffles with a berry compote. We received 2 tiny, reheated frozen waffles with literally 2 berries. Upon checkout I mentioned these issues with the desk staff. They assured me a manager would be in contact with me. It's been about a week and I have received no such communication. Again, extremely poor service. My experience is that the service is extremely poor. I do not recommend this hotel if you want a luxury experience. Though the room is acceptable, I can truly say that there are budget hotels I have stayed at that have outclassed this establishment in regard to service. Stay somewhere else if you want even mediocre service.
At first impression the lobby is somewhat minimalist and understated but the more you see of the hotel the more you experience the grandeur. We were in a junior suite which was amazing - large size and everything of high quality. The service was excellent. Breakfast was very good with a large variety of quality food. The hotel has an indoor childrens play room full of toys which my son thoroughly enjoyed. The location is good - a couple minutes walk from the popular bukit bintang shopping district and short cab rides from most other attractions. On of the best hotels and nicest rooms I've stayed. I hope to be back.
I stayed for 3 days in this hotel. Very amazing place. Room service was great. Hotel rooms were big. Buffet breakfast was amazing. A lot dishes to eat. Fresh fruit juice every day is plus. Not to far from KCC towers. I stayed with my husband and 12 year old son. We had a good time.
"Excellent Choice in KL"
3 nights and no regrets. This is an excellent hotel with professional service. They take care of you all the way. The word "no" just isn't in their vocabulary. The location is very convenient just off main road from the Pavilion Mall and you can cab it to KLCC within 15mins without traffic (about 40mins in peak traffic). Definitely go to their Dim Sum restaurant Li Yen. Authentic Dim Sum in a high end setting. The only negative point was that the Cobalt Room had the same breakfast buffet everyday which became a little boring after 3 days. Looking forward to my next trip back.
Spent 4 nights in total at this lovely Ritz. Beautiful room, great service, perfect location. Really like spa and a pool area. Breakfast, what it should be at the Ritz. If ever I ever come back, will differently stay again. Great Concierge service!
