The staff at the Ritz Carlton were fantastic, very professional, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble plus everyone had a smile on their face and several staff said it was a great place to work with a lot of pride. Top hotel very conveniently situated for all of the sites and sounds. Very nice room with everything that you would expect from a top hotel. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and an exceptional start to the day.
"Awesome Service "
A few positive notes here to compliment a bunch of awesome and silent hard working souls in this Ritz CarltonKL . The management team is the youngest team which I have experienced in luxury hotels. They are not flawless, however it is still understandable that when comes with people, operational level would commit certain kinds of errors because human would make mistakes. Tanzie (room manager ) and her team tried their efforts in providing customers a genuine Ritz experience. Tanzie is passionate, energetic, perhaps of her young bold, she always attempts to take various responsibilities in many area in an attempt to achieve better results. She is very young, talented, I am sure she will continue to excel. And I believe that under the leadership of Mr. Eric Tea, the most humble GM I have met, would strike a good balance in keeping up high morale and high occupancy. Moreover, I would like to extend my praise to Michelle, Mae Ling, and Jennifer. The service of the club lounge remains high standard, I must mention Nay Tun, humble, detail minded person, without him, I think Club lounge will lose its shine. Wei Kei is a very hard working girl, very dedicated and she is a silent soul but devoted to work professionally. Perfecto is good, Cherrine is gentle, nice and well mannered. I may forget some good staffs too but the entire club lounge team did their very best. They are really working out the spirit of Ritz. In addition, I would like to thank Chef Aris, Chef Haka, Chef Rabbie, as well as the entire chef's team, I know many chefs had been working hard and pouring out their efforts in cooking good food for us, for all guests too. They are very good! Last but not least, let me share a story with you, around ten years ago, there was a lady whom would replenish fresh towels, fresh slippers daily. After knowing that me and my family always enjoyed family chit chat when drinking coffee, (pre nespresso era) as such she would offer me many coffee sticks, tea bags, brown sugar and make sure everything was perfect before she went off. She wrote little cards to me every morning, greeted me and my family. As a courtesy return and I was really impressed by her efforts, I wrote back Thank You to her everyday on the card. On the bottom of the card, it prints Ritz Carlton Kuala Lumpur. It was from that moment, My experience of Ritz imprinted in a kid's heart. On my last day of my stay, this lady intentionally hurried back hotel to say goodbye to me and my family, that day was her only off day of the week. I hugged her dearly because I knew that day was not her work day, she should not be at service, and she must be tired... From then, wherever hotel I stay and experienced whatever butler service, I would recall this memory, and everytime, old Ritz memory would be the champion of all butler services of all world class hotels. I always remember her name, she is called Samantha of Ritz Carlton KL. This time, hearty thanks and kudos to the current butler team, my butler Mable, Daniel, Kyle, Tini, Alit, and the rest of butler teammates . I will keep all the cards they have written to me, the nail clipper, as well as the origami butterflies. There is a saying "people creates memories not things, the real value comes from ladies and gentlemen who brings hotel to life!" I will remember this bunch of awesome people in Ritz Carlton KL.
"Flawless Hotel, Great Location"
Stayed here for a night and only wish it could be longer! There was a welcome drink served at check in, and a host will bring you right to your room's doorstep. Some representatives then came knocking on my room door shortly, and offered to serve hot tea / coffee, and a brownie. Housekeeping also provided fruits and another round of brownies later on in the day. Room itself was spacious, there was a seperate wardrobe/ dressing table area, bathroom and of course the bedroom area. I supposed they did a renovation recently as everything seemed really new. Location is superb - there's a linkway connecting you to JW Marriott/ Starhill Gallery and right across the street is Pavillion Good variety of breakfast, but quality is so-so. Would definitely return, great great hospitality - best I've stayed in KL so far!
"My Annual stay at Ritz"
My experience stay this time is disappointing... I stayed in 3 rooms suite, the tap water are all hot and unadjustable making it so difficult to shower. The toilet drainage not working resulting flood and soaking wet floor. Kitchen utensils not fully equipped. No butler service, no personal touch this time...

The absolute best place I ever stayed at. The very best staff. So friendly, helpful, and caring. Worth every cent. Room service was great, and the connections with hotels and shopping were second to none. A must stay for your time in Kuala Lumpur.
