"Can't wait to go back"
This hotel is definitely the best choice that caters to all travelers. Whether it's a special occasion, business or family trip (which was my case) you won't be disappointed. It was 5 of us including a 4 year old so we reserved 2 connecting rooms. If you're looking for a view you have to let go of the connecting room idea. For us it was important though the connecting factor. The staff are so upscale without being pretentious. The ambiance is stunning and opulent yet very warm and welcoming. I found the service to be reckoned with at this particular location anyway. We usually frequent The Mandarin, however that will not be the case anymore when we go to New York. You're close to everything by foot and I really don't like to walk so if I say you're close its close. To places like Rockefeller, Columbus square, great shopping venues on and 5th and others, Empire State Building, Central Park is across the street, Time Square, pharmacy, cafes and great dining options. In room dining food as is okay however not a representation of the culinary deliciousness NY has to offer. Now with that being said our stay overall was so wonderful that I still would not stay any place else! Also they have great security and such a strong sense of safety though out the hotel.
"Great place to stay anytime"
Stayed here with family for 5 days. The Ritz is everything you expect it to be, great service with smiles, well appointed rooms with all that you need, quiet and across the street from Central Park. The beds were incredibly, don't think I've ever slept so well in a hotel. Unlike other properties I've stayed at, this one actually feels a little bit like a boutique because it's got a smaller foot print. There's only one restaurant on the premise but the breakfast was superb albeit on the expensive side. Good option for families or business. Besides the park there were many amazing restaurants around, and it was only a 5 min walk to all the shops on 5th ave.
"Fabulous NYC Weekend"
My family had a wonderful weekend stay at the Ritz-Carlton Central Park! We were immediately greeted upon our arrival by Pete, a guest relations agent who also personally escorted us to our room. He and all of the hotel staff we came into contact with during our stay were very friendly and welcoming. We have two young daughters, and during our stay the hotel surprised them with personalized treats and a memento from a Broadway show we mentioned we were seeing. We had a room with two double beds, and it was spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. The hotel's location on the south end of Central Park is fantastic. While we tended to use the convenient subways, many areas and attractions are within walking distance including Broadway, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. We had a fabulous experience at this Ritz-Carlton, and I hope we'll have the opportunity to stay there again in the future!
Celebrating big birthday! Greeted with attention to our stay. Highly personalized, upgrade, awesome royal treatment. Snacks, cookies, bottled water. Well located in heart on NYC Don't miss La Prairie Spa!!
"Great location and service"
Stayed at Ritz Carlton for 3 days and it is great experience. The service is perfect and you can only feel very well here. It is directly located at the Central Park and Time Square is only a few blocks away. Sure from pricing higher than other hotels but it is worth.
