"FIU Wine Tour"
Great hotel . The staff was fantastic. They went out of their way to recommendation for restaurants and things to do . We booked their van with a driver to give us a private tour which was great. We visited the tallest building, went shopping and had great pizza in a restaurant called Tiramisu. The bar area was very cozy and great drinks were served. Breakfast was also very good.
"Excellent save Reception "
I have visited this hotel for the last six consecutive years twice a year . So I know what I speak about . The rooms, restaurants and bars are first class according to the stars and the standards of the Marriotts hotels. The breakfast is superb and the room service unique . The conserje are always there to help you. The door boys are the only persons that recognize you when you arrive !! BUT and its a big but is the RECEPTION They do not recognize you ever. Having been a usual client. Always with a prepaid voucher . I have always had a problem with them. E.g. Charging me the WIFI being a Marriott reward holder. My stays are of six nights per year !! It's a problem of not doing their home work simply. To reserve a 450 usa$ just in case you escape without paying for a 3 night stay, having pre paid your stay a month ago I consider at least exaggerated . Are all the clients supposed thieves ''' I always write my review in my native language which is Spanish but as they never pay any notice to me I am writing this in the Queens English !
"As always, excellent hotel"
I stayed here two nights and then another two nights with a brief trip in between to Valparaiso. It's my second time staying with them, and as before, the service was outstanding. The property itself is quiet and clean, and in a great location just a few steps from Santiago's easy to use and safe Metro. The rooms are getting a little tired, but that's okay because the hotel is renovating now. They are renovating on Floor 12 this month, and you can hear the workmen if you're on floor 10 but not on floor 6. The windows in the room actually open if you don't want A/C on all the time, and the climate in Santiago makes this a nice choice. Everything you need is available in the hotel, especially good advice and recommendations from the concierge staff - they set up a great hotel for me in Valparaiso and managed to get me reservations at the best restaurant in town for Valentine's day. Thanks again, Ritz - I'll be back!
"The Ritz Carlton, Sandiago"
Stayed at this hotel for 1 night after a trip around South America. The check in staff were incredibly helpful in allowing us to check in early, very much appreciated as we were tired from travelling. The concierge was very helpful in suggesting places to visit, options for getting around i.e.Metro or tour bus, provided a map etc. Our room was the most basic on offer but was very luxurious, very clean and comfortable with a lovely comfortable bed and a large bathroom. The breakfast was excellent, served in the resteraunt, plenty of choice on a buffet basis or by order from the kitchen. All in all nothing was too much trouble, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend this place - a perfect end to our holiday
"Very very good"
This hotel is in the new Santiago and is a pleasant place to stay Access to the older areas can be obtained on the hop on hop off bus or by taxi or by metro Believe people when they tell you not to display wealth. Watches, cameras, bracelets are all fair game and attack is a REAL threat. There is a large under privileged population and tourists are seen as easy targets That aside there is lots to do and see. Just be aware that this is not comfortable suburbia
