Had an excellent stay at the Ritz-Carlton. The room was beautiful and the hotel was right on the beach. All of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I would not recommend eating here though.Comment of M. Violeta , United States the 2016-03-04

"The best hotel I have stayed at"
200 days a year I stay at hotels. This one is the best. Terrific service, friendly, spacious, great food service. Pool is the best to swim in. Everyone went out of their way to make this a wonderful experience. The location hear Lincoln Road made waling to see stores and restaurants easy. Also it is right on the boardwalk and beach which makes this an easy access for hikers. It is extremely safe as well. At night the hotel staff will turn your bed down and bring chocolate and water as unneeded or desired. I liked the privacy for business meeting that I had while at the hotel. My wife liked the special attention she got at the pool. Every day the staff would bring free drinks and snacks. I never had a better vacation.
"Not a Luxury Hotel"
Rooms were comparable to an average hotel. Definitely don't expect a luxurious room. I think its way overpriced compare to other Marriott hotels. However its a fantastic location. Right at the beginning of Lincoln Road. Walkable to the beach - don't get tricked by the pictures - no private access to beach - you need to come out of the hotel and walk to the beach through a public road.
I felt like staff members were disturbed my personal privacy. It was my anniversary vacation. For example, house keepers were constantly knocking the door at evening time (I did put no disturb sign at the door). Also, room hygiene was poor (dust everywhere on their furnitures). In addition, after I took a shower, the whole bathroom floor were like a lake. Overall, I did not expect to be like this on my vacation and I honestly was not satisfied with my staying at this hotel.
"Not the standard I would have expected"
Just back from a short stay at the hotel and was disappointed certain aspects did not live up to what we had come to expect from several other Ritz-Carltons we've stayed in. Mostly it was the physical ambiance. Located on Miami's South Beach and adjacent to the art-deco area, its design both externally and internally suggests an intention to be sympathetic to that iconic style. In my opinion it doesn't really pull it off. Another reviewer has referred to the lack of 'wow' factor, with which I would agree. The biggest 'wow' was paying over $100 for two for a perfectly good but very ordinary breakfast buffet. Also a ridiculous price for two cups of coffee each. The staff were all great, and the best thing about the hotel. Couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Top marks here. It's just the general ambiance. By all means draw on art-deco for style inspiration - but did it have to be so dull' I'm not sure how old the building is, but it feels rather past its prime. Dated. Yes, it was certainly comfortable - but without that sense of stylish luxury - which you would really expect both from the brand and at its price-point for everything. Won't put us off Ritz-Carlton in general, but doubt we'll return to this hotel unless we learn of significant refurbishment in the future..
The bar staff was great stumble across car leaving beach stop had drink ... bartender gave me good recommendations and it was perfect .. kept topping drink if I could t finish so gave me Togo cup and let me roll well diff be back here again
