"it is not 5 star"
I stayed there in last March the hotel is old and not good value for money, it is not 5 star hotel by any standard I will not there again, nothing special about the breakfast the room is too small and every think is old, the lefts from the last century, but the location is great
This was my secondtime in this hotel and I will be back. The location of hotel is very good but at the same time its not in centre of all hassle.I have had everytime very quiet room which means good sleep for allnightlong.Service is everywhere in hotel very polite and good.Breakfast is good even its littlebit too expensive.
This hotel treated us just in a Royal way! We came to London to celebrate my wife's birthday, we booked a double room at The Royal Horseguards through the booking.com - and we were so excited by their attitude to our special occasion! First of all they have have precisely fulfilled all special requests - a bottle of champagne, flowers in the room (the bouquet was beautiful) - all on a very short notice. But the main surprise was that they gave us a free upgrade to their Tower Suite! Staying in this two-floor 270degrees panorama suite is worth of a separate visit to London itself! This hotel is a real historical and cultural landmark, the building is just magnificent. It's location, architecture, interior and genuine British spirit makes staying in this hotel a unique experience We would like to send our special thanks to James who enabled all this perfect experience and who was very professional, super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed every second of staying there and we highly recommend it to all travellers!
"Fabulous Location - Treated like royalty"
The location of this amazing and historic hotel couldn't be any better! Directly across the street from the Embankment Tube station, you have complete and convenient access to the rest of the city. Wonderful views of the River Thames, London Eye, Westminster Bridge, Big Ben, and Parliament. Very close to many of London's top attractions, as well as the quaint Soho district where we absolutely loved spending time. Our room was elegant and well-apointed. As we were there for an extended time, the sizable closet and large work desk were put to very good use. I also very much enjoyed watching BBC as I soaked in the oversized tub. We had breakfast every morning at One Twenty-one Two, which was a delicious traditional English breakfast, served buffet style with many different options to choose from. Be sure to make reservations for afternoon tea, as The Royal Horseguards does one for he best afternoon tea presentations in the entire city.
"Amazing as always"
This is one of our favourite hotels in it's so close to all the main areas you'd want to go to. The check in was smooth and seamless our room wasn't quite ready but we were giving coffee and drinks in the lounge area whilst we waited a nice touch. The as always was amazing with great views across the river. The breakfast's were varied and excellent. I would have to say once again the hotel exceeded our expectations the staff are friendly and professional and always willing to help. Now awaiting a reason to come to London again
