"Good for Business Purposes "
The hotel is nice and we'll organised. 5 km from Kowloon train station (the lines the connects the airport), 35 minutes by taxi from the airport and very close to ferry terminal to reach Macau and Zhongshan. The dimensions of the rooms is "normal" compared to HK standards, even if I like a bit bigger. Amenities in the rest rooms are nice and at the ground floor there are different bars, coffee shops (including Starbucks). Really suggested for short stayings to Business Travellers. Ratio between price and quality is very good.
"First Room was Tiny"
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. This time we reserved a premier deluxe room through Trip Advisor on "Getaroom". We actually reserved the higher priced room from the travel site. Well, we checked in for a five day stay and was given a room in the hotel section. The room was so tiny our luggage wouldn't fit into it. We went back to the front desk and asked was it possible to be given a bigger room. It was for an upcharge of the equivalent of $60 US dollars a night so our $140 a night hotel room turned into a $200 night hotel room. We were moved into the Tower which is an adjacent building into a room that was much bigger. The room had no view except for office buildings. However it was large, clean, and comfortable. They did also give us breakfast with the upcharge. The breakfast buffet was quite good with Western and Asian selections. The hotel is very clean with good security and is locate in Kowloon close to tourist spots and the big Harbor Mall and close to the ferries. it is located next to Kowloon Park which is an osasis of green in a concrete city.
The staff are wonderful, accommodating and knowledgeable. The rooms are functional, not a lot of space, but roomy. The location is excellent with access to the ferry terminal and Hing Kong City Centre. A 10 minute walk to the star ferry and access to Hong Kong City. There is a pacific coffee across from the lobby, so you don't have to go far for excellent Java.
"Harbour view amazing"
Three nights in Royal Pacific hotel, Kowloon, on the harbour overlooking Hong Kong island, on a stop over from Australia to uk. Staff excellent couldn't be more helpful especially Irene who booked us in and arranged a late check out without any problem. The hotel itself is a bit difficult to navigate around being in separate towers joined by a walkway and connected to a shopping mall! Well to be fair the whole of Hong Kong is a shopping mall! There are plenty of staff to show you around, breakfast in the hotel is in cafe on the park which appears separate to the hotel floor below the lobby, it's expensive £18 each but I have never seen such a variety laid out buffet style. We ate out at night with a massive choice of restaurants. We stayed in a premium room harbour view floor 15 certainly worth the extra money, clean and tidy fresh towels every day. Staying in Kowloon gave you easy access to Hong Kong sights via Star ferry, 20p per person.
"Won't come back"
Reading many good reviews, I wonder if try actually was at this hotel. Rooms are very warn, rooms small and worst is the quality of bathrooms. Lots to which for on their service. Example they can not provide a breakfast to go on an early checkout. Breakfast is what they get good points on, so if that's important... it will be ok I personally will look for another option next time.
