Location was good with mall and train station nearby. Great if you have plans of going to Macau as its very near ferry station. Room in hotel wing is like a shoebox but has the basic stuff. Best to book tower wing for spacious rooms.
"One of the best hotels I've stayed at, very unfriendly waitress in the Pier bar"
I stayed five nights and had an amazing time in the Royal Pacific. My room was very large, with a modern feel, albeit the old outside feel of the hotel. The room was tidy, with shower, bath and a very comfortable bed. The location is also amazing, very close to the Pier and all the Eateries in Tsim sha tsui. Unfortunately, the Pier bar in the ground floor couldn't live up to the hype. We had a very rude waitress and decided to leave after some questions regarding the happy hour regulations.
"Royal Pacific HK - stay in the Towers, not the Hotel!"
Near all the shops, malls, Austen and Tsim Sha Tsui MTR, and with a direct walkway across to Kowloon park , its a good central location Based in the Towers, the room was good Note, I have stayed in the Hotel side and this was not good - rooms small and dark Room was cleaned, breakfast was excellent with a good selection of foods
I currently live in China, and it's very easy to get to Hong Kong by ferry, so I've been there a number of times now. However, I always run into trouble arriving in or leaving the city - can't find a taxi, can't find the entrance to the metro, whatever. I was also booked into another (terrible) hotel for one night which I'd stayed at on my way out of Hong Kong, and couldn't face staying there again. So I splurged on the Royal Pacific, which is RIGHT ABOVE ferry terminal -- no getting lost! I got a huge room overlooking the harbour, with a BATHTUB (these aren't a thing in China, so I had my first bath in a year!). The Pierside restaurant was amazing, and I've never had such an incredible buffet breakfast before. Everyone was helpful and wonderful. Will go here again and again.
"Near enough to Harbour City "
I stayed in the Royal Pacific Tower for 3 nights for this business trip as hotel prices were exorbitant during the Golden Week in October. Normally I am booked to stay at The Gateway at Harbour City but had to stay at Royal Pacific this round. They have 2 wings and the more premium rooms are in the hotel tower. I was booked in a room at the tower wing. The room size was large by HK standard and it was clean. There was a handy phone provided to make local call as well as international calls to some countries free of charge. But the phone did not allow data sharing. Breakfast was buffet style and the spread was reasonable. Quality was slightly above average too. Checking in and out was a breeze and did not take long. My only complain is that there were stairs from the hotel lobby to the lifts. It was not the most convenient when you want to carry your own luggage and have to lug it up and down the stairs. But there are staff around who will gladly help if they are available to.
