location is great. they have free coffee and tea. have food variety around the area and near to all the area that you want to visit in the city. walking distance to the metro and easy to find. no wifi in the room only in the lobby. room is pretty small for a 4 star hotel and a bit pricey for the quality of the hotel
"Room was perfect for the family and the location was great for walking around NYC during the holidays!"
Spent a night in NYC with the family before Christmas, thanks to Director of Sales Jason. He made sure everything was taken care of for us. When we arrived we were greeted by Junior the hotel porter, who is a gentleman and made sure our 3 kids got out of the car safely and into the hotel, then assisted us with our overnight bags. Elizabeth at the front desk was super sweet and helped us with a smooth check-in then directed our kids to the cookies, which of course they loved. We had a 2 bedroom room suite and it was perfect for a family of 5. The boys slept in one room in the queen bed, my daughter wanted the futon in the living room and we slept in the other bedroom. The room was good, but the location is the best part. It's a few blocks south of Central Park and few blocks north of Rockefeller Center. We walked with 3 little kids, no problem to see the tree, the Saks light show and St. Patrick's. Looking forward to returning for a romantic weekend getaway with the wife and being able to walk to all of the local sites.
"Broadway with my Daughter!"
First of all I have to hand out a Big kudos to Dany at the front desk! He is wonderful! From beginning to end he made sure we had everything we needed! He made us feel welcomed and made sure we had a car when we needed it all set up for us when we had to go back to the airport! The hotel is clean and it is close to everything! Only a 6 min walk to Rockefeller center and plenty of stores and sites along the way. We also were able to walk to the theater were we saw the Broadway show" Jersey Boys". We had a quick visit for My Daughters Birthday present and due to the location and wonderful staff we were able to make every minute count!..I work for a major Airline and stay in Hotels all over.. The Shoreham Hotel is on my top ten list for sure....affordable clean and quiet!! Thank you Dany and the whole staff for a memorable trip with my daughter! Happy New Year!, Donna E.
"Labour Day in the Big Apple"
Had a great time in NYC did a lot of sight seeing. We stayed at the Shoreham and we were very impressed with the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is located 12 minute walk from Time Square and Broadway. We enjoyed the cold beverages in the lounge after a full day of sight seeing it was a great place to relax before heading up to the room. We had a junior suite with a king sized bed and the bathroom was great very large shower with many jets and steam and a whirlpool tub. We will definitely stay here again when we return.
"There is no need to think any other alternatives in Manhattan"
Location, location, location...thousand times of locaiton. You're close to almost everything like eating options, shopping options, cultural options. The staff was also great; positive and easy to contact. The room was (which was queen for us) always clean and efficient for two person.
