Das Hotel The St. Regis in Bangkok ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Das Hotel liegt an ausgezeichneter an der Ratchadamri Road, somit ist die Zu- und Wegfahrt mit dem Auto kein Problem. Auch die BTS Station ist direkt mit dem Hotel über eine gedeckte Brücke verbunden. Von der Ankunft im Hotel bis zur Abreise war das Personal in allen Bereichen immer sehr hilfsbereit, äusserst freundlich und doch sehr diskret und perfekt im Umgang mit den Gästen und den Arbeitskollegen. Das Design in den öffentlichen Bereichen und auch im Zimmer entspricht genau unseren Vorstellungen. Bei unserem Aufenthalt empfanden wir zu keiner Zeit das sich zu viele Hotelgäste an einem Platz drängten. Selbst beim wirklich sensationellen Frühstücksbüffet konnten wir in Ruhe den Tag beginnen und fühlte uns auch zu keinem Zeitpunkt irgendwie gedrängt den Platz zu verlassen. Auch am Abend im Restaurant Decanter war es eher ruhig mit einer ausgezeichneten Auswahl an hervorragenden Weinen. Wir sind froh das The St. Regis Hotel gewählt zu haben und freuen uns bereit jetzt auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt im The St. Regis Bangkok.Comment of P. Christian , Switzerland the 2017-01-28
"Impeccable service and great gotel"
Beautiful hotel with amazingly friendly, helpful and kind staff. Really great amenities for SPG platinum members, including butler service, happy hour with an amazing wine list, and free laundry service. Breakfast had a huge selection, with an incredible to order cooking station and really tasty fresh juices.
"Hotel is great but dealing Starwood's customer service spoiled everything "
My husband and I have stayed at the St Regis Bangkok a few times since it opened. We love the hotel for its location and service. As a SPG member we get regular upgrades which are appreciated. However, I have just had one of the worst experiences with Starwood's customer service that is making me think twice about staying at any Starwood hotel again. To give a little background on this incident... the last time we went to St Regis in Feb I'd booked through booking.com as it had the best cancellable rate of any booking site including Starwood's. When we checked in, the front desk manager told us we couldn't have any SPG points for the stay because it was not booked directly with Starwood. I explained that the rates were just more favorable on booking.com that's why I used them. She urged me to activate the Best Rate Guarantee (BRG) next time I found that Starwood didn't give the best rate, and that I'll be given 20% off the cheaper rate on the competitive site. So here I am booking our next stay, and again find that all the Starwood 'special' rates are higher than booking.com, Agoda etc. So I decided to do what the front desk manager suggested, i.e. file a claim against Starwood's BRG. I made a cancellable reservation on St Regis' website and a another on Booking.com - same terms, room category and all - and sent the reservation info including the links for both reservations to Starwood's customer service team. Here's a summary of my experience: 1) The first response I received was that I could only claim against the BRG if my reservation was made on a Starwood branded website. How this Starwood employee did not see that St Regis is a Starwood brand was beyond me! 2) I replied to that email and asked that a customer service manager checked the facts. A reply came quickly and apologized for the mistake, and asked me to file the claim by filling in an online form. I did. 3) I got a response in about 24 hours - my claim was denied on the grounds that there is a cheaper rate on Starwood's website. On checking I see that this was an advance payment rate - something they did not bother to highlight. I wrote back and told them they must have made a mistake again, and of course an advance-pay rate is lower than a flexible rate! 4) Their reply' They do not differentiate between advance-pay or flexible rates! So I wrote back to challenge them that in that case shall I make an advance-pay reservation and claim against BRG as Starwood's advance-pay rate is also higher than booking.com's advance-pay rate. And would they honor BRG now' No answer. I think it's a real shame that Starwood proudly publishes this Best Rate Guarantee, but will do anything they can to avoid honoring it. I may expect a 3-star hotel brand to do something like that, but not Starwood. I am very disappointed. Disgusted. It's too bad that this has now left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't think I want to stay at the St Regis at my next visit. Or any Starwood hotels frankly.
This hotels situated right on the Sky Train route which makes getting around Bangkok very easy. When I arrived at the airport it a very easy train ride to he hotel with only two simple changes. The hotel rooms were exceptional. Very spacious and clean. There are a number of great restaurants in the hotel . We spent some time in the Japanese restaurant and bar area. The staff at the hotel were very professional and helpful in everyday. Have a coffee in reception if your staying the coffee and service was fantastic. I had the pleasure of having two massages at the hotel Spa. That was just a great experience and very relaxing. A must stay if your after a top class experience.
"I'm a Regular"
I stay at the St.Regis every trip to BKK. Staff incredibly warm and friendly. Rooms are clean, luxurious and high quality. Light switches are easy to manage, plugs are well-positioned (several are bedside to allow one to charge mobiles overnight) and windows are well soundproofed. So charming. Prefer the St. Regis to many other BKK hotels for business-travel.

Without a doubt, The St Regis Bangkok is the standard by which all hotels set their standards. Food, Service and Room are all impeccable. I stayed with my son 2.5 years old and my wife for 1 night. Excellent location.
