As always beautiful and relaxing view, the services was amazing and the restaurant has always been my favorite one in Miami. I highly recomend it, the food is always fresh and delicious and you have to try the new dessert (bread pudding) you won`t regret it, you will wan´t to order a few more to go... i`m local and love their food, always on time, impecable and delicious! also everbody is very attentive and sweet!
"Such personalized servcie"
As a long-time fan of The Standard in Miami Beach I continue to be impressed with the great personal service. Make sure you meet Oskar (GM of the pool), who is always so hospitable but, he really went above and beyond to make sure my good friend and I were comfortable. We got caught in a really hard downpour Sunday and he helped us get inside, got us dry towels, and made sure we had a place to sit (in a very crowded space). Even once the rain stopped he made sure we were setup in chairs again, that we received replacement drinks (our other ones got soaked), and that we ready to continue enjoying the day. Also Mark, who works at the pool was beyond attentive. Even when the pool got so crowded, he was still so on top of it all and has an awesome personality to match. What an asset to the Standard team! These are all small gestures/details but, they go a really long way.
"Setting the standard for bliss "
Decided to visit Miami for a much needed vacation and came across The Standard. Jeffery and Sebastian were beyond helpful on all the facilities available. Would highly recommend anyone to visit The Standard and experience it first hand. Thanks for the great hospitality!
"Much needed Staycation!"
The Standard really is truly an oasis. It's removed from all the craziness on South Beach and tucked away. I decided to treat myself for my birthday and the spa at The Standard is always the perfect gift. I always recommend the baths: so relaxing, rejuvenating and honestly you can let the afternoon pass by without even noticing. Also, thanks to Kristybel at the shop she was so helpful and let me know about the happy hour at Lido Grill!
"Hotel Guests treated rudely"
First of all the staff is rude. Them night we checked the driveway was blocked, no doorman or bellhop to help you and as we struggled to get in the front door the check in clerk just stood and watched as we struggled with our luggage. As far as the room go, know that "minimalistic" means cheap and crappy. Sticking a bathtub outside the door on some white rocks with no plants and a white canvas around it in not sexy. Everything is ridiculously expensive. Everything. This is the best part...know that they sell club memberships to all the yuppie neighbors. That's right, you can't get a seat at the pool because al of the neighbors are hanging out there. The pool manager spends all day kissing their behinds while they ignore the hotel guests. At one point the pool manager actually told a waitress to "take care of them first, they are members" while we sat there trying to get a drink poolside. Unbelievably rude. I will never return.
