"Amazing location! "
We stayed on a Saturday night as we were heading to the theatre! Our room wasn't ready when we arrived as we were early but they happily stored our luggage and took it to our room when it was ready! Location is amazing, top attractions, restaurants and theatre all within a 10 minute walk in every direction. Breakfast was also great the following morning.. only not a 5 for minor details like no eggs on the breakfast buffet and wifi dropping in and out.
"Everything is charged "extra""
Once you arrive you discover that you need to pay extra for everything: from a decent room in the front to an egg at breakfast. I have stayed several times at this hotel, manly due to its location, but this time the managed to infuriate me.
Have stayed here before so was confident that it would be a good choice for my husband's birthday which it was. In addition when the check in clerk discovered it was a birthday trip, he upgraded our room and a couple of complimentary drinks. Most welcome
"Excellent & Friendly Staff; Superb Location"
Would stay here again and recommend to other. Excellent staff were helpful with every request (and they were all perfect - from hotels to spas!). Comfortable room, quiet, all things you want included. Good housekeeping staff as well when you need to restock. Easy access to transportation, museums, theatre, etc.
"Food Poisoning and Poor Management Response"
We stayed here over Christmas 2016. On Xmas eve at breakfast I was eating my eggs and bit down a pea sized price of hard dried egg white and spit it out to see it had shell attached. It tasted of raw egg. By 14:00 I was vomiting and having diarrhea. It spoiled my families Xmas eve and Xmas day. I had to cancel dinner reservations both days. I reported the problem to management (the concierge) on Xmas day. I didn't get an "I'm sorry your Ill". I have not heard from their management. A consultant contacted me to state that it couldn't possibly be the hotel food. It seems to line up that it was a spoiled egg that had been broken for sometime that the cook served anyway. I am disappointed as I am a Loyal Hilton customer but this hotel is horrible. On top of the food poisoning without a word form them, no apology for the fact I had two bad days, their staff was rude and in general u helpful. They wanted to charge me when I asked for more water due to all the vomiting and bathroom issues. I will never stay here again and I suggest you avoid this crash pad where they don't care about their guests. That what I get for spending 40k Usd with Hilton last year... I even submitted a complaint to the parent company after not hearing from them for two weeks. Did I hear anything, no. Maybe calling them out in the horrible management at this property will get a response.
