"a horrible dump"
Good news for the hotel: I paid £185.00 for 1 night's stay, EXCLUDING breakfast. Once they grabbed my money, I was given a room with the following: 1) 4 soft pillows, no chance of having (at least) 1 firm pillow 2) a TV set not positioned in front of the bed. Instead, they placed the TV on the top of a big box (it wasn't a piece of furniture) on the side of the bed. To watch it, I had to either sit on the bed or twist my body if lying down 3) Shower is little more than a trickle with lukewarm water. Not to mention that it took me almost 10 minutes to understand how the 2 taps worked 4) Toilet that, once flushed, would only flush again after 5 minutes. It took ages for the cistern to filled up again 5) Sink in the bathroom had a little more than a trickle of lukewarm water. Otherwise, I had use wash my hands with cold water OK... now what about breakfast for an extra charge of £15.00' Unfortunately I can not answer the question. Why' I was told that breakfast is served from 06:30hs every morning. I was wiling to pay £15.00 for that. I went down to the breakfast room (after checking out) at 06:35hs. There was no bacon, no eggs, no baked beans and nothing hot that makes up a proper English breakfast. No one to greet me. No one to serve me. All I saw was 2 girls working really hard behind the counter. They were probably working on something else, as they didn't even look at me. No staff, no breakfast, simply NO NOTHING. £185.00 for 1 night to be treated like an idiot. Don't bother. The "management" of this dump only want your money. They don't care. They will never care about anybody.
I stayed in the trafalgar for 2 nights had a great stay. Queen deluxe room was very big and loads of space. Clean sheets and towels very comfortable bed. Perfect location in the centre of everything couldnt of picked a better location for sightseeing and the westend for theatre. I will definitely return the hotel staff were so kind and helpful even surprised my friend with a birthday card and some cake such a lovely gesture really made her stay feel more special. The only thing I could say that's anyway critical was maybe they could update there carpet from cream to a different colour because it looked a bit grubby but I checked the sheets towels etc spotless..I'd definitely recommend staying at the trafalgar we had a great stay 😊
"Perfect location "
Great and helpful staff. Clean room and most importantly; a great location. Not inexpensive but worth the money. They offered us free water and fruit as well as wifi. A nice bar awaits as you enter the Trafalgar but lobby of any sorts is nonexistent.
"Not a Hilton standard hotel"
Disappointing breakfast, dated decor and furniture in the bedroom and bathroom and poor communication about the use of the rooftop bar. Not what we expect from a Hilton. Even though the roof top bar and view are listed as a feature of the hotel this was shut and we weren't made aware until we arrived. Overall disappointing stay and service.
"excellent position for site seeing. Lovely hotel and staff"
Stayed for 1 night to go sight seeing and see a show for husbands 50th. The hotel left a surprise birthday cake in our room which was really nice of them. Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good with plenty to choose from. The hotel checked us in early so we could go off and looked after our bags all day after we had checked out. Would defiantly come back to tis hotel , excellent position, excellent staff and an amazingly comfortable bed !!!!
