Hubby and I stayed here last night at the end of our business trip to a surrounding city, first I skeptical about choosing Venetian because it is getting old ( built in 2007). However as we only stay for one short night, and Venetian is one of the biggest landmarks in Macau, having the mist number of shops, restaurants on the property, we thought to give it a try. We were not disappointed! Venetian, despite built in 2007, has been well maintained and looks just like new. The service and ambience are both great. Everything was superb. The room is spacious at 70+ square meter, 2 tv's in the unit, large bathroom, and a divided living area. Shuttle to and from the China birders or airport are very convenient and runs every 15-30min. There are tunnelwalks to other Sands resort, so you don't have to walk outside in sweat or when it rains; also supposedly there is tunnelwalk to a traditional local street where you can enjoy local delicacies. Simply enjoyable, I would recommend to stay here at least once when you are in Macau.
It was in January 2012 when I went there, but I did not know that it was on tripadvisor. So, this is my late opinion:The shopping mall fees like being outdoor on the street looking at the blue sky without knowing that it is already dark outside. A little Italy even with gondola. It is a very impressive place. Similar to Venus Fort (Japan).
This was a very Nice and beautiful hotel. 3 nights were enough.. The are a lot of People in The shopping area... The only problem was that you can online pay With credicard in The big and expensive butiques. Paying food or drinks With credicard was not posible anywere.
It was an amazing stay at Royal Suite, The Venetian Macau. The hotel has everything inside. The shops are endless with the most premium brands and variety of restaurant options. We also visited THE EIFFEL TOWER ( The Parisian ). Brilliantly Crafted. Its just PARIS in MACAU.
south lobby is the area that you need to be at if you are staying in this property.breakfast option is ok, they just change 1 or 2 things in the menu.staying at this property makes you feel like you are staying at a luxury mall. didnt get a feel of hotel really, if you going with kids, you gotta walk more than usual, coz you cannot cross the casino to go to the other side.room serive is great, room size is good enough to accomodate 4 people. we were taken to the Vip lounge checkin service from the regular que to check in. they gave a very sweet toy to my daughter. room service staff is excellent, however people working in the west lobby reception area are a bit un proffesional. i asked them to make a call to my travel agency who was suppose to pick me up for my excursion, and they said you need to wait as its 2.20pm not 2.25pm lol. check out was smooth. we only had to pay for a cup noddle. which took a minute waiting at the check out counter. one of the best staff to remember is "lovely" she works at the vip checkin lounge, and trust me shes best at her job. would like to recommend to people who are going for first time only to take a glimpse of being at macau. apart from that if you are going for some relaxation please dont use this property as you will be just walking for 2 nights just to reach your room.
