"Not so great"
Rather shabby needs up dating rooms have thatched ceilings and it doesn't feel clean Breakfast was ok but the other dining experience wasn't good Itvis long drive from the airport the beach and pool are are pleasant enough
Stayed here with my boyfriend from Feb 20th - 26th and everything about it was amazing. Our villa with sea view was perfect to watch sunrise every morning and we loved the bath with a see view and outdoor shower! Breakfast choice was really good, everything we wanted. Staff were so friendly. We liked the quiet location as was there to relax. View from pool is amazing and never a struggle to get a sunbed. We cant wait to come back :)
Stayed for three nights in an ocean view villa. Could not fault the whole place, everything was excellent. Wish our stay could have been longer. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so great.
"Relaxing holiday "
I spent 3 glorious days here, definitely not long enough, the resort is beautiful. Pool is lovely, clean & easily accessible. Restaurant by the pool is where we had breakfast which had a variety of choices. Eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, pastries, as well as hot Asian dishes. Service excellent all staff I encountered were lovely & nothing was too much trouble. Spa was professional & reasonably priced. I had facial, massage & pedicure by Im who was delightful. My room was spotless & cleaned twice daily. Two bottles drinking water provided daily. Fridge in room which is a nice touch. Dial 1 for ice & also golf buggy provided if you don't want to walk in the heat. I'd definitely stay again, highly recommend. Please contact me if you would like to ask about my stay.
"Perfect Resort; especially if you are travelling with toddlers!"
First off I just wanted to share, we were travelling to Phuket for my sons first birthday, I have never left Australia before but my partner has. We stayed in a Deluxe Villa, the balcony overlooked the Savoury (the main resurant/bar/pool area) Room 39. On arrival, even though it was late at night the staff were lovely, friendly, greeted the three of us warmly and offered refreshments and went through everything with us. We were taken to our villa by buggy and the staff member helped us with the bags. Walking into the villa it was beautiful, the room was a combined bedroom/lounge room, they had set up a portable cot for our son right next to the bed, there was information fliers on the desk clarifying anything we may have needed to know. To the right was the wardrobe/mini bar room which just had two massive wardrobes (one with a safe) and a dresser/bar with a tiny fridge/mini bar. Keep following it through and you are in the bathroom, there was a HUGE bath with shutters that opened to a gorgeous view of the pool area, there is also an outdoor shower, which has a window that opens to a perfect view of the beach/pool. We had daily breakfast in the Savoury which was a buffet, they have everything from traditional thai/asian breakfast to cereals and fruits to sausages, eggs and bacon. If you don't want fried eggs or if you want french toast or pancakes/crepes then just go ask the cooks where the bacon is and they will cook you up something fresh (seriously these guys were amazing, I am very picky when it comes to eggs and they made the best scrambled eggs without my needing to specify anything) The rest of the meals at the Savoury were mediocre, I think maybe because we ordered the food in the villa pretty much anytime we needed to eat a meal at the resort. They also have happy hour between 6pm and 7pm, which was great! We had drinks looking out over the ocean. The grounds were gorgeous, they even seemingly grow their own fruits at the resort (if you have any bananas they are probably grown there for sure) just be wary of little lizards, they didn't bother us but some people the might (saw what looked like a bearded dragon one morning, he was tiny and cute) there were a couple of cats we came across too (again we didn't mind as we love cats but some people might) but they avoided people and just did their own thing. V-Spa is incredible!! Go there. We got the valentines special spa package the first day there, which was a couple massage, body scrubs, hot oil and a jacuzzi, the staff were so peaceful and friendly (like everywhere else at the resort) and the views from the jacuzzi were gorgeous. Our final day I got a mani/pedi and my partner got another massage, we found it to be just as peaceful the second time. We were a little concerned about what to do with our son when we went on an island tour and when we went into patong one night, but were told to speak to the staff at the Kidz Krubb at the Rotunda. They were perfect with our son, he loved spending time playing with the women, and they were respectful of our wishes with him (no swimming, get him to sleep etc) Just make sure you pack enough food and nappies! Fern looked after our son while we went into Patong at night (which was something I was very anxious about) he went straight to her, and spent the night playing until he got tired and fell asleep. We were very impressed. The Baan restaurant was our favourite in Phuket, the food was to die for! The staff were again incredible, we went for our sons birthday evening and they had a cake for him and sang to him, it was incredible. The resort helped us with taxi hire and pretty much anything else we needed during our stay. There was only one thing that disappointed me, which was the fan painting, I was expecting a class with proper paints and instructions, I was basically just given a fan and two brushes and children's paint and told to go my hardest. definitely will be coming back at some point.
