"When you travel to Phuket, Stay at VIJITT - it is a great place to stay for a relaxing break!!!"
Sa was dee khrub (Hello) from Australia! My wife and I have not had a break for at least 2 years and after looking around where we could go and stay, we decided to go to Phuket, Thailand. Our plan was to have a relaxing break from work and do things TOGETHER. We did exactly just that! We selected VIJITT from the list of similar accommodations around Phuket and we have no regrets!!! The place was more than what we expected. Fantastic services and excellent villa #5 to stay for 8 days - which is next to the swimming pool, with our own veranda access to beach as well. How good was that' Walking bare footed to the swimming pool or the beach or watching the wife from the veranda enjoying the breeze and sun laying lazily in the hammock hanging between 2 wonderful trees next to the beach. If we were to back to Phuket, will definitely stay at VIJITT again.
"Relaxing Beach Village"
This was an interesting hotel with all the rooms being separate beach huts, built on a hillside overlooking the beach. The hotel reception was an open air area with helpful staff. After arriving very late to the hotel we were driven down to our villa in the golf buggy which was great fun. The villa was divided into an open area which contained the bed, small couch and desk and then an area with the wardrobe and mini bar which you then walked into the huge bathroom with double sinks, deep tub with windows overlooking the sea and an outside shower (which was great!). We stayed here for three nights at the end of our ten day Asian getaway and this was a perfect hotel to relax in and take it easy. We visited the other side of the island and were very grateful that we stayed at this hotel, out of the hustle and bustle of Patong. The hotel is somewhat dated but it is being maintained constantly and the gardens are very well maintained. The beach is not really worth a visit but the pool more than makes up for it, so we were content. There is really not much outside of the hotel, so do expect to have to travel if you want to see something of Phuket. You can book several day trips from the hotel and this was very easy to do. We had to cancel our only one day boat trip we booked though due to bad weather but this was no problem for the reception staff to help us with. The food was okay and we had everything that we wanted at breakfast. We had some poolside food as well and some great beverages there. There is a restaurant on the grounds where we had dinner twice. There was great service and food here, so we really enjoyed this. On our last day we booked some massages at the hotel spa and this was great, perfect before the long flight home.
"Amazing, Beautiful and the best service"
I went to the Vijitt Resort last week for my girlfriend's and my anniversary. I also decided to propose to her as well, which was obviously a surprise. Neither of us had been there before and frankly, we are both fairly critical of value and service. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and the service just got better and better to the point that my nervousness went away and I knew this was the right place and time to ask her. The room was fantastic, we had a deluxe pool villa. It rained everyday, but it was beautiful watching the rain from our room. They had to move the whole surprise proposal indoors because of the rain, but the attention to detail and the way they worked with me was super professional and extremely kind considering I was very nervous. A+++ for everything, highly recommended.
A truly relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious, the grounds are absolutely huge, and the buggy services come in handy. The buffet breakfast was a feast that keeps you full until dinner time. The pool is perfect for lounging with a cocktail, although the sunbeds are quite popular so you might need to get in quick. The staff were all lovely and our stay was very relaxing. We stayed May 2015.
"Hotel in need of some TLC"
We stayed at the Vijit for 4 nights. The location of the hotel is good, and the views excellent. I felt however the hotel itself needed some updates. In places the paint work and decking looked old and in need of replacing. The pool villa we had limited sun on it, and had to use the main pool to sunbathe. The food was good in the restaurants, but my overall feeling was it could be due an update.
