"Best business hotel in Beijing"
Great front desk, James is your go to person for booking hotel!!! And Eric's conceige service is just outstanding !!! We shipped out tons of stuff to the hotel before we arrive at the hotel and they are well received. Not to mention about the club lounge ... always smile :)
The place needs a refurb !!! Rooms ok but tired ! Pool great, gym average. Only one bar in the hotel and it was closed for an event ! So one couldn't get a beer in the hotel at all !!! Can you believe it Very poor
"Excellent hotel with central location and fantastic staff service"
I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights travelling with my wife and young son (4 yrs old). The hotel was centrally located with easy access to transport options, shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself is modern and has excellent amenities. The staff were friendly, courteous, always willing to help and commands good English language skills. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a junior suite room (as a SPG platinum member) which was a pleasant surprise as it is not something I would always expect. Throughout our stay, we had used many of the amenities throughout the hotel including the Executive Lounge, Restaurant, Bar and the Heavenly Spa, which all provided excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return when we visit Beijing again in the future.
"Excellent Business Hotel"
Good clean and contemporary hotel in the Financial Street neighborhood. I say good for a 'business hotel' because there is really nothing to do nearby, tourists should stay in a more dynamic neighborhood. If your in Beijing on business and need to stay in this area the Westin is your best choice. I also really like that Westin is tuned into healthy lifestyle offering great healthy menu options and will lend you free New Balance workout clothes to hit the gym!
"business hotel which needs to improve service"
This is a standard Westin business hotel with decent rooms, as expected, a good quality gym, etc. but let down by poor service and a rather impersonal approach. Trying to get room service was far too much like hard work and no wonton noodle soup mid evening - really, in a large Chinese hotel' and if you arrive after lunch and would like to eat in a restaurant then you won't find one open in the hotel. Cakes and tea was the best they could offer in the hotel lobby. there's so much choice in Beijing that there's really no need to stay here - I won't again
