"Decent Rooms but Lacks Food options"
We stayed for a weekend in January for an event at the convention center which is attached by an indoor bridge. There are no food options near this hotel so you are captive to the one restaurant,the lobby bar and a starbucks. Our first night there the restaurant in the hotel had 1 hour wait so we tried the hotel lobby bar for a quick bite - waited over an hour for hamburgers and salad. We did get the meal for free after complaining but we ended up eating dinner at 10pm. The next night we ordered take out pizza which was so soggy and took almost an hour to arrive as well. Breakfast was ridiculously priced at $20 per person so we just had starbucks. Do self parking - it is very easy and cheaper than valet. Also, you can put your luggage in the car rather than checking it with Bellman if you stay past check out. We had a 3pm check out which was surprisingly late - the hotel was not full so this may be the reason. Beds are only full size so pretty small for 2 people but comfortable. Rooms were clean and in good condition.

Typical outstanding service from Westin staff. Several dining choices... try the Harpoon Winter in the bar in the lobby. MJ O'Conners is a fun spot with good food and lots of beer choices. Steak tips were very good. Deep fried cheesecake sounded better than it was... but it is so different...get another desert and share.
"New Year's Eve at the Westin"
Decided to do something different for New Year's and settled on the Westin Boston Waterfront. Easy location to find and quiet , safe neighborhood for walking. Hotel had everything we needed, from good restaurants to a comedy club on the premises. Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were courteous and very helpful.

The Westin is located next to the convention center, so it is a convenient location if you are attending an event. it is also close to other hotels and within walking distance to the harbor and a number of restaurants, bars, and attractions. It is a short drive or Uber ride to other places of note including historical sites and downtown. The hotel is quite large and can be somewhat confusing to navigate initially, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a Starbucks and several bars and restaurants within the property. The hotel spaces are clean and organized and every need I had was met.
I check in to Western waterfront hotel in downtown, Boston, ma on Sat Dec 24,2016 to Mon Dec 26, 2016 2nigts@2 days there the front desk was good the room was good I got king-size bed on high floor on 16th good one problem in the room something room make noise when watch TV that weekend on sun night and Monday afternoon before I check out that day they said front desk noise. Come freezer make noise they said should bring up a maintenance guy to check out room see noise that weekend I stay room was good the AC/heat was work no ploblem at all but room the pool was good and workout room was good the the food was good for breastast was good the sever was good 2 ploblem was business center not open on that weekend of sunday Dec 25,2016 Monday Dec 26,2016 they was closed for the weekend because holiday the front desk sad sorry business center closed for weekend and holiday next time that business center will open next time comeback to Western waterfront hotel but business center should open from 7:00a.m.to 10:00 pm daily then closed business center for nite open next day at your hotel you should think overall try keep business center open daily so manager or general manager could open on holiday so people can use business center each day if can think out I helpful let people use the business center helpful every thing else was good at the hotel I will come to hotel again it was good hotel I will be back to this hotel again in March 2017: thank you have a good day and weekend to you thank you.
