"Excellent hotel and reasonably priced. Would stay here again for sure!"
We stayed here before a flight out the next morning. We checked in later than we thought but we had no issues with check in or check out. Room was very clean, updated, modern, and quiet. Front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. We left our car for 10 days in their parking lot for a VERY reasonable rate. We were originally going to park at the airport but the front desk discounted the price for us and so we left it at the hotel. We caught the shuttle back after our vacation (waited exactly 2 minutes for the shuttle to arrive) and they took us directly to our car.
"Not warned in advance that hotel was undergoing renovation"
In the past we have stayed many times at this hotel prior to flying south the next morning, and always been pleased . However, on Nov 21/16 we arrived to find the place being renovated - No hotel dining room , and upon expressing our shock and displeasure, front desk stated " you can go across the road to the Keg"! - Reception only had 2 staffers and both were busy so there was a lengthy wait to check in...... getting to our room found the temperature only 67 C - room was cold and it was snowing outdoors! - Took 2 '/2 hours to get room warm - and as we didn't fancy another trip outdoors in the snow, we ate dinner on our laps, in our room - Not what we expected from the Bristol Place - It's wrong to accept reservations from regular guests without warning them in advance that the hotel was under renovation.
"Ok airport hotel."
Stayed for one night during a long lay over. Location is reached by shuttle from airport. If you want to stay at hotel attached to the airport, stay at the Sheraton. Rooms are spacious and clean. However it's not dated for Westin.
"Close to Airport, Far from Downtown"
I was in town for a business conference at the Toronto Congress Center, which is right down the street (5 minute taxi ride). Quite a few restaurants geared toward tourists and business travelers within walking distance. The hotel itself was under renovation in the lobby and restaurant/bar areas, so that forced us to go out for work dinners/drinks. The rooms were nice, comfy beds, and nicely appointed bathrooms. I flashed my SPG Member card, and scored a room on the 14th Starwood Preferred floor. Hotel shuttle to/from the airport is easy and convenient, and the driver would even take us to restaurants nearby.
"good but under renovation"
We stayed here on Oct.23 and nov 3.the place is under going a facelift but the previous design of the rooms I prefered . the front entry was not open and the lobby was empty . we took their shuttel to the air port , Rob is the driver and he has been excellent over the last 11 years .
