Stayed here for 1 night in October 2016. Great location, big rooms, top notch service. Rooms were big and comfy. The starbucks coffee in the room was a nice touch as well. Breakfast buffet the following morning had tons of options as well.
Review made. Extremely upset at the fact that the manager Josh accuse me of stealing stuff from the hotel which I never did I will never be staying there ever again. Also, I'll be sure to advice any future colleagues at wish to stay there to not stay there.
"Beautiful hotel, right on the river, wonderful staff"
One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in - top 5. Décor is tasteful. Location on the river is perfect. The staff is wonderful, especially William at the front desk - he is very comfortable with people, friendly and welcoming - an excellent representative of the hotel, and Westin. He was also very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions in the area. Note to light/medium sleepers: Bring your sound machine; hallway doors slam very loudly.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel over the holidays while visiting family in Chicago. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was very friendly, and the hotel was accommodating during the holidays. An unexpected bonus was the gym onsite and Sam, the personal trainer. He went above and beyond to inspire and educate and even created a customized routine that I could take home with me. Sam was incredibility knowledgable and I've continued my new workout routine now that I'm back in Miami.
It's 2017 and Westin is still charging $15 a day for WiFi. Maybe they can also attach a coin slot to the TV and make a couple extra bucks that way. At this point, charging for WiFi is like charging for sheets and pillows. Nearly every other hotel has given up this idiotic practice. Not Westin.
