"Can't wait to return!"
We stayed at this hotel after a concert in August. After our last stay in the city, I found myself wishing we had stayed at this location again! First off the property is absolutely gorgeous, decorated to the nines. The concierges were laid back yet very friendly and really made it feel like they were trying to find us the best room! Well it paid off because our room was very spacious with a view of the river and skyline that was simply spectacular. Great for snapping a few pictures. Room service was expensive but delicious and served graciously. Great location in the back bay especially if you can find a deal .
As I plan my 2017 visits to Boston – and back to my favorite hotel in that city, The Westin Copley Place -- I find myself reflecting on recent stays and why it is that I continue to look forward to returning to that hotel. It is so much about the very special folks who are employed there! I've commented in the past about some of the remarkable people working at The Westin Copley Place. However, I feel compelled to commend a few more folks there who are uniquely positioned to influence the first impressions of visitors to this hotel: Two of them, Ben and Chuck, are dedicated doormen at the street level hotel entrance, positions they've proudly held for many, many years! They have wonderfully positive attitudes, are highly professional and helpful, and are truly unique in their ability to remember the faces and names of repeat visitors. Over the years I've known them, they've gotten to meet some of my family members, who they genuinely ask about each time I return, no matter how busy they are! Their dedication to and pride in what they do each day is outstanding! Another person I'd like to commend is Jefferson, who works quietly behind the scenes and is someone you are likely to never need and therefore may never have the remarkable opportunity to meet. However, if a need arises in a guest room that requires appropriate engineering attention, you would be most fortunate to have Jefferson respond! He maintains a very high bar in terms of his professionalism, and his breadth of knowledge and experience from two decades of service to this hotel enables him to address basically any challenge, which he corrects in an unobtrusive manner, all the while with a very warm and kind demeanor! Again, it's all about folks like Ben, Chuck and Jefferson (along with so many other wonderful and dedicated employees) who truly keep me coming back to The Westin Copley Place!
"Nice stay close to centre"
I stayed on a business trip and it was a pleasant stay for 10 days. Hotel staff is cordial and rooms are clean equipped with all modern amenities. I got a room on 35th floor and it was a nice skywalk kind of view. It's close to Boston Library and Newbury street which is an addon to people visiting Boston for the first time.
"Good place to stay if you can find a deal"
I'm a SPG member, so I tend to love all things Starwood. Large hotel in Copley. Decent for walking and right across from the Back Bay station (Amtrak service and a few train connections). Room was clean. I asked for a room with a view, and boy did I get one (room 3101 had great views, I assume the 01 room on upper floors are great also). Just check your folio before checking out. I was charged for parking for 2 nights, even though I took the train. I got is resolved easily enough (assuming my CC is reflected accordingly), but still, look at your bill.
"Surprisingly quiet room"
Stayed here with our family for New Years Eve. Incredibly convenient location and even though it's a large hotel, the check in was very efficient. The room was pleasant with nice views of the Charles and Copley Plaza but I was most impressed with how quiet the rooms were. There was a lot of activity and noise in the hallways but once we were in the room we couldn't hear anything. Would definitely stay here again
