"One of my newest FAVORITE Hotels!"
I've stayed in great upper-scale hotels all over the world, and the thoughtful touches of this Westin make it one of my very favorites! When you first enter the lobby, you'll notice classy touches of vintage automobile collections to beautiful holiday decorations. The very clean and modern room impressed me with an automatically warmed bathroom floor and a speaker repeater in the restroom to keep you up to date on the TV program you were watching before. I also loved the technology of the TV... When I was downstairs during my wake up call, I returned to find my TV had automatically turned on and was asking me to acknowledge my alarm (rather than constantly ringing the phone). The Westin gym was excellent, but expected of a Westin. However, this one has a very nice spa treatment area and indoor pool/lounge area attached to the gym. And finally, the staff was exceptional. A day or two after my stay, they followed up to ask how everything was, and Ms Schönig was very quick to help me understand one of the features of the room that I had misunderstood - Thank You! I hope to be back very soon!
I stay at this hotel several times a year ONLY because my company has a contract with it. It's location is good and the staff you'll come into contact with is excellent. The problem is the internet. This hotel is in Germany - one of the world's most developed and prosperous countries. It's in Frankfurt - home of the European Central Bank. You would think this hotel's internet service would be world class but it's NOT. You'll find faster internet in many third world countries. The hotel says they're working on improving their internet but it's going to take many months. I say NONSENSE! I recommend highly you stay somewhere else.
"Nice stay for quick stopover in Frankfurt"
Stayed here for one night on our way through Frankfurt, using SPG points. Nice stay for a quick visit, located close to Christmas market. The lobby is lovely and service was very good. Wifi was included but we couldn’t get it to connect. GETTING THERE – From the airport, take city train S8 or S9 to the Konstablerwache station (not the main Frankfurt station). Upon walking up from the station, with the DM store in front of you, turn left on the main street, which becomes Konrad Adenauer (but is called something different there at the square, so don’t get confused). The Westin will be on your left down only one or two blocks. ROOM – We told the reservations person we would have our son with us, and she booked us a “Grand Deluxe” room. It was plenty big, with a king bed and ample floor space, but no pull out sofa, etc. Guess we’d expected that because they knew we had a child but given we were only there one night and were jet-lagged, we just went with it and all slept in one bed. There was a nice shower/bath combo. AMENITIES – Given our SPG status, we had access to the Club area which was well stocked with snacks and drinks, as well as breakfast in the morning. For breakfast, there was only cold items out on the buffet, but you could request cooked to order eggs, which we did. There was also an espresso machine.
"Consistent from last 20 years!"
It's been almost 20 years since I have been staying in this hotel, always consistently good service, I think it's the attitude of staff which matters, they always look forward to serve you and try to fulfill every need! Great location!
"Great hotel with great location."
Stayed here one night and the property was very nice with great rooms. The location is also very good being right on the edge of a large area of shopping and dinning spots. Very close to transportation options as well.
