"Excellent Business Hotel with marvelous amenities"
Great hotel in the heard of the San Isidro business district. Walked the fifteen minutes to and from my office each day for about a month. Just a few blocks from department stores, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Happy to hold bags, provide late checkouts, upgrade to suites, and all the other amenities Platinum business travelers require. The lounge was wonderful and served as a team meeting place many times and my only breakfast or dinner on more than one occasion. Other amenities (shower, bath, linens, etc.) were top notch for any hotel worldwide. Bilingual staff always helpful and ready to go the extra mile. I'll be happy to return on my next trip.
"Absolutely amazing hotel! Service is the best we've ever had at any hotel!"
The Westin Lima was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. We are very picky with where we stay on vacation and The Westin exceeded every expectation. The service was exceptional. From the doorman, to front desk staff, to housekeeping, every single person went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The restaurants and bars were some of our favorites in all of Lima. We hope to return soon and will recommend to anyone we know going to Lima.
"Deserves 5.5 Stars! Best Westin Ever"
This hotel is gorgeous, more like a St. Regis than a Westin. We stayed in two Belmond properties and a Luxury Collection spot while in Peru. This was our best hotel. My husband is a platinum member and we were upgraded to a gorgeous one bedroom suite. We were given access to the lounge on the 29th floor, which is fabulous. The food was delicious and they offered breakfast, lunch and dinner. We didn't need to eat anywhere else, but we did of course, this being Lima. We enjoyed a Maras dinner downstairs. This was a short visit, as we were just coming back into Lima from Cusco to return home 1 1/2 days later, so we didn't have time to avail ourselves of the spa, etc. The only tiny drawback is that this is more of a business area than Miraflores or Barranco, so it's not as easy to walk. That said, we did wander out to a beautiful church and found some good shopping.
"Hard to beat"
Travel a lot and not a huge fan of eating in hotels no matter if 5 star or holiday inn... typically disappoint. Only exception is westin Lima- ground floor food is tremendous and service excellent. Fernando and his team are as good as you will find in any restaurant in Peru, and absolutely worth a visit
"Difficult to be better"
The Westin is on my experience, world class unique. The sutil attention to details has no limits, elegance and discrete attention is also unmatchable from everyone at the hotel. The blend with the Peruvian culture is a preparation for what is coming next, one of the most astonishing ancient cultures in the world still waiting to be discovered, if you dare to do it. Thanks to my new friends at the Westin and to Peru, such an illuminating experience, if you can see well.
