"Prime location for a Westin Hotel"
Hotel needs renovation, and they have to upgrade their service, as is not up to the standards of a 4 to 5 star joints, and definitely not what someone is expecting from a Starwood hotel, room was quit odd, the heating was not good during the visit, the room telephone was not working, and not equip with the today's requirements of international travelers We hope Starwood to do something about this, as the location in excellent
"The Westin Paris -Vendome "
Stayed here for three days on our way through Paris, very central to everywhere we wished to explore as we set out to do the tourist thing. Very luxuriously presented and the apartments are well appointed, make a point of saying g'day to the security on the door as you come and go, they're very serious about their job and it'll save you being held up and searched every time you return for the day. During the days we stayed the French Prime Minister was visiting his mate in the building across the road so security was at a serious high alert and don't forget to tip the doorman he's a legend always willing to help.
Located close to Louvre Museum and many coffeeshops, restaurants, and shops, this hotel is ideal for tourists who like to be close to Louvre, and in a 40-minute to 30-minute walking zone to Champs Elysees and river banks.
"Excellent friendly service"
From the front desk and bellman to the late night lounge staff, we received nothing but fantastic service and friendly smiles. While the prices reflect the location, their cocktail and wine selections are superb. I highly recommend the French Onion soup! The location is also superb, within walking distance to the park, ferris wheel and Eiffel Tower as well as many street cafes for breakfast and cafe at lait!
"Great location, gorgeous interior"
My husband and I stayed here during the holiday break into New Year. We wanted to make sure we stayed at a comfortable, well-equipped hotel during this winter getaway to make sure our hotel would be a cozy and clean reprieve from the cold (Which it was) -- we paid for an upgraded room with a view and it was worth it. So we arrived groggy after an overnight flight and our check in was delayed but the manager Hovannes went above and beyond to accommodate us. Besides that, he and pretty much the entire team at the concierge (Philippe) and breakfast staff (also worth ugrade) exceeded expectations with kindness and professionalism. Beautiful lobby. The winter Bulle d'Hiver bar can be pricey but was a lovely nightcap spot. Convenient location. You can walk to the Orsay and Louvre and fancy restaurants. You can't beat it. Also nearby are reasonable Restaurants including: Flottes and L'Imperial Rivoli. If you're craving a beer stroll to Frog Hop House. Bathroom is small but that's Europe for ya.
