It was very nice and comfortable stay. I was very satisfied with night service - the meals are delicious. I would recommend it for my friends.Comment of P. PRZEMYSLAW , Poland the 2015-01-04
Honestly, nothing negative to report about this hotel. We got dropped off at the front entrance, bags got taken by the concierge and checked got in by friendly and helpful staff. It was really late and the bar was shut, but they didn't hesitate to sell us cigs from the bar. The room was spacious, pristine and had a loads of info. The mini bar was fully stocked, although I didn't use it cause I don't like spending £9374838.93 on a peanut. The usual coffees and teas were complimentary with water bottles replenished daily. Luckily the hotel is close to Old town, where we spent most of our time as it was freezing and I was adorned in only a jumper....3 degrees...not good! There were options to get massages on the third floor, running journeys mapped out in the rooms and a general feeling of health and well being. The prices of our brunch were good for the quality of food. I had the Beef Udon dish and Annie had a Club Sandwich so big her jaws unhinged at some point. A cool feature of the hotel is the elevators that go up to the 24th floor (I think) and you can see across Warsaw onto New Town and that big building in the middle. The atmosphere in the mornings were buzzing. Most tables in the dining area were full and music and lighting was perfect. I can go on and on, but basically, this was one of the best hotels I've been in. I will look our for The Westin name in future.
"Comfort-Room but be careful because of cheating for breakfast includ"
At first place, I was impressed from the hotel style and also from the room include a modern flat-TV and bathroom which is in modern style and offer also tea service. Just one thing: I was surprising that the shampoo utensils were wet as I did not use yet the shower. At the end I got a bad surprising at the morning as my name was not showing at the list for breakfast guests. At this time of the reservation, the room was offer for 63 or 69 € at booking.com and expedia (here include WiFi) but to have breakfast include it cost additionaly 99 Zloty (around 30 €). So it was booked for 99 € as the reservation confirmation showed it also (a polish person reserved it for me and liked the box for breakfast). But the reception denied it. That is for me a fraud!! I asked them to write down in English as I did not understand them but they did not want to write anything. It is not a good service, so I gave a less rate than usual. So be careful with the Westin related to the breakfast. So I had to leave the hotel without breakfast.
"Good and central location - amenities so so"
The hotel is very well situated in the center of the city, so close to most thing it seems. The rooms are ok for this type of hotel and works well. I would argue for a change of carpets as they seem designed by a drunk camouflage designer, but small thing. The coffee in the room is instant type, wish the hotel didn't try to save money on everything as its a local brand that tasted terrible. The restaurant is ok too, nothing special and very 'generic'. Give it some more personalized feel and will be much better. Most of the employees speak good English, which is a plus. So overall, an average stay.
Stayed at the Weston for 3 nights in September. Wish it could have been for longer. The staff were brilliant. Our flight was delayed and we didn't get in til midnight, and they were so lovely. The room was very well equipped. We were on the 19th floor with amazing views. Check out the lift!!! Warsaw is a beautiful city to explore, so much to see. Amazing restaurants. Back to the hotel. I indulged myself with a massage in the spa, you have to go. Also had a manicure, it was the best ever. So professional, the staff are brilliant. Can't speak highly enough of our visit.
"Great hotel but Exec Lounge needs to offer more! "
Lovely hotel, very clean and comfy beds. Used the hotel's limo service to get to the hotel from the airport which was 90 pln and I thought that was reasonable for the price. Staff are great at the hotel. Especially the lovely Liza in the Executive lounge and the trainee lady Paulina on reception. I do think the executive lounge should offer more in the way of foods to match what other hotels provide such as the Hilton where there are mini sandwiches, quiches and much more variety than the Westin. The soups in the evening in the lounge here are very good. The hotel is around 15 mins from the old town which is lovely and definitely worth a visit.
