"Great resort, could improve wait staff and be more creative/original on the seafood options."
Great location, amenities. Goa restaurant food was lower than expected given the level of the resort - too many "make your own" salad as opposed to creative salads to choose from. Seafood was also a bit unimpressive - there was always a good option, but for a place in Bahia, expected to see some Lobster, more shrimp, and local / less conventional flavors. Desserts were always pretty good. Waiters often took a while or got orders incorrect - the ones at the pool bar was especially bad - we were a large group and gave up on them coming to get our orders, and started going to the bar to get them ourselves, even when we were the only ones at the place. The Taubaré (a la carte restaurant by the beach) had amazing and local food. Acarajés were also delicious.
Perfect stay! The room is clean. The counter person is very kind, the welcome drink is so nice. We did not go out the Tivoli Ecroresort anymore!!! Thank you so much for your kind support for our stay in Praia do Forte.
"Good hotel but terrible service and completely overpriced"
We visited the resort for 3 nights and enjoyed our overall stay. There were plenty of negatives unfortunately. The water in the shower smelt of diesel, and there were not many English speaking employees so it was very difficult to communicate our needs or complaints. We then had a terrible experience at the Sombra do Coqueiral restaurant. We were standing in line for the steak station with people in front of us and people behind us, and the chef helped the people in front of us and completely by passed us and helped the people behind us. It was pretty obvious that we were the only people of color standing in line so we found it highly offensive. When we pointed out to him that he had completely skipped us and served the visitors behind us he pretended not to understand what we were saying. We got no apology for what had happened nor did anyone follow up with us about why we were upset. The chef completely spoilt our trip and ruined the experience at this hotel.
"Sure not the last stay"
Everything in this resort is on a very good standard. Location is beautiful, services are very good. The only thing who is not follow the quality of the resort is, that guest have to pay for Internet-access. I think that today a Internet-access should be a normal service for all guests witch is included.
"Terrible Infrastructure & Highly Overpriced Overrated"
Was schedule to stay at Tivoli for 3 days and checked out after 36 hours. Stayed in room 021 a suite, terrible mosquito problems, sewage smell began permeating from shower and toilets, skunk smell around the resort, small monkeys running looking for food in pool/restaurant area, constrauction, etc,etc. I could carry on about more problems including high overpriced, but I simply now say stay away from this place. It's horrible. Terrible.
