Location was perfect for us. A two minute walk from the station and a 10 minute stroll into the main town, just over the river. Staff, excellent, always willing to help, friendly and always smiling. The room was very good, spacious, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, in-room safe. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was first rate, a good choice of quality items and boiling hot water for tea - perfect. (we are English after all!!) It is in a good part of town, with restaurants, cafes and shops within a couple of minutes walk. Parking is available if needed. The daily soup, complimentary, was a nice touch, even better if you get the mustard one. Would definitely stay here again as our first choice if we ever return to Maastricht.
"Refreshingly different! "
What a lovely hotel! Designed totally different and modern, a lovely new experience from the norm. Staff very helpful, room great quality. Lovely extras like warm soup on your arrival or a nightcap after your night out! Only regret was that we only stayed one night!!
"...camp, retro, vintage...no, just Townhouse"
All contemporary/modern convenience is available, with some elements of former days. Makes the scene cosy and somewhat like my parents home. Good stay! Polite staff with a personal touch. The same: like coming home.
"Quirky but makes you feel at home!"
This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Maastricht. Near the station and only a short 10 minute walk into the centre of town, you can't beat it. The breakfast is delicious, serving hot apple pie and coffee in the afternoon, you'll be well looked after. The people are friendly, they make you feel welcome and at home.
"Modern, comfortable and somewhat different"
We selected this hotel for our two nights in Maastricht as it was not far from the railway station, so easily managable by foot with our bags, It was also not too much of a walk to the old town area of the city. It's different. The rooms are modern but small. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms good but there is limited space for your bags. Not really a problem for a short stay though. The lounge/dining area is on the ground flooe adjacent to reception. They do not really do dinners but offer evening drinks and snacks. This is on a self-service and honour system which was a little bit strange: you advised how many drinks you had on checking out. Breakfast was held each morning in the same area: it was not extensive, but adequate and as a coeliac I was able to make do.
