"Hotel with a Great View of the Twin Tower"
The best feature of this hotel is the location which is near to the twin towers and train station. All within walking distance. If you choose a room facing the twin tower the view from the room is fantastic. But the room amenities need to be urgraded. For the price we are paying, the value is not up to standard. There are better value hotels for this price. Some of the staffs need to be more customer service orientated and make the guest feel more welcome. SMILE! Teach them to smile when they are servicing the guests.
"Central hotel by the park"
Hotel room with a view towards Petronas Twin Towers and the park. That was truly relaxing, the hotel have good (and huge) breakfast buffé. Clean and quiet. The gym had a great view and was clean and pretty well equipped. There is a pool on the top floor, it is not outside, and in the evening it converted to a bar with very loud music. And then the pool is closed, so no evening swim. All in all, a good quality hotel in e great spot in KL.
"One of the best hotels in KLCC area"
Awesome Twin Towers view from the hotel! Strategic location for sure - walking distance to Suria KLCC and Bukit Bintang area etc. LRT station is also available in KLCC so it is easy to commute around. Enjoy the relaxing night at Sky Bar is a must here! I like the sauna here, small but clean!

Stayed at Traders Hotel for 3 nights in February 2017. I travelled with my girlfriend from Glasgow UK via London with Malaysian Airlines. It was our first time in Kuala Lumpur. We selected Traders as it had been recommended by a friend who had stayed there and also by flight centre who booked our full trip. It is around 45mins transfer from the airport. we had pre booked transfers with Buffalo Tours (very good by the way). reception is on the 5th floor as the restaurants in the hotel are located between floors 1-5. we were treated to a free upgrade and access to the Traders Lounge located on the 35th floor. Our room was on the 32nd floor and was excellent. Fantastic views of the Petronas Towers and KLCC park. Clean and spacious and amble complimentary toiletries. The Traders lounge access was also ideal and worthwhile upgrading to if you can pay the upgrade. we ate breakfast in the lounge which was peaceful and plentiful. Also you can have free afternoon tea which consists of hot and cold snacks and happy hour between 5-7pm which entitles you to free beer, wine and spirits along with soft drinks. The rooftop pool is enclosed by windows and the floor also acts as a cocktail bar in the evening and is busy with people staying and living in the city. I found the pool to be quiet during the day and a nice temperature. Again very clean and well maintained. That is about it really. Overall the hotel is excellent. As it was our first trip to Malaysia and KL I can give a few opinions to anyone else contemplating a visit or using it as a stop over. We were advised by the transfer driver that there are snatch thefts and robberies in the city. day and night. We were also informed on our first night by a European bar manager not to walk on the streets at night due to safety reasons. Although I'm sure there are instances when this is the case I found KL to be safe and walked everywhere day and night. Batu caves - we got a taxi there and back. I'm sure it's easy via train but it's even easier by taxi. it cost us 30MYR going out and 50MYR coming back. Try and bargain Caves probably worth a visit but as we were there after a festival it was very crowded and dirty. (piles of rubbish everywhere). The monkeys are there eating anything and everything. Great Hawker stalls, bars and restaurants all situated around Jalan Alor in the city. The hawker stalls are great and cheap (some cheaper than others so have a look at the menus). The bars around this area are plentiful but drink is expensive. Around 3 pints for 70MYR appears to the best you will find. Overall KL worth a visit and I would definitely recommend Traders Hotel.
