"Good hotel and location"
The hotel is located within walking distance to many attractions and is generally good. Breakfast is surprisingly good. Their wifi does not work in the room and is of low quality. The staff are nice. There is no way to make coffee or tee in rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.
"A wonderful place!"
A very modern place, so impeccably clean, location is superb and the breakfast is so rich, unlike in many places in Italy. Very friendly staff, helpful, smiling and welcoming! And the jacuzzi equipped bathroom was a huge plus! We will without doubt go back!
I was worried when I saw some of the reviews for this hotel but it was lovely. We stayed in room 307, a twin room which although not really large was really nice with a view over the street. No noise. Our friends had room 302 which was a larger, double room in the same boutique décor. The hotel is very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The hotel is in a great position but we did get the hop on. hop off bus which I still felt was beneficial as there is so much to see and you get great information as you ride around all of the beautiful sights. we liked the Big Bus tour but make sure you haggle for the price. It started at 30 euros each, but was soon reduced to 21 euros each when I began to walk away. The breakfast had a large choice and was always plentiful. No kettles in the hotel room so we took our own, Supermarkets nearby where we bought water. If you. want to go to Vatican city make sure to book through the Vaticans own website, 20 euros per person and skip the queues as well. I took a tip from another trip advisor post to enter the Basilica from the Sistine Chapel without having to go outside and join the queue. All you need to do is when you leave the Sistine chapel take the exit to the right and not the one to the left, it is marked tour guides only. Nobody bothers and we walked through at the end of a tour group. It worked like a charm and we were straight into St Peters Basilca without having a 2 hour queue. Rome is stunning and I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Just something to remember for the end of your holiday. There is a room tax of 6 euros, per person. per night that has to be paid in cash when you leave the hotel.
