A great small Hotel with very nice rooms. Excellet location close to Rome’s major atractions, walking distance. We did our check out and took a car service to Civitaveccia to get on a cruise. But the best is yet to come, once we did our cruise check in and were on board the ship, my wife noticed she had left her jewlery, money and credit cards in the room’s safe deposit, my wife panicked, she was going to loose her things or the cruise. The Royal Caribbean port people helped us contact the Hotel and coordinate with them to open the safe deposit, put her things in a bag and get a car service to bring it to the port. One and a half hour latter, my wife got her things and we were able to continue our vactions, THANK YOU STAFF OF THE TREVI COLLECTION HOTEL AND ROYAL CARIBEEAN PORT.
"Great location, no more than that"
The location is great- located 3 min. walking from Fontana de Trevi and the Spanich Stairs. As far as I understand, the hotel got renovated and old rooms. We got an old room. The bathroom was very small, the water strem was horrible. The shower had mold and closing the shower door was almost impossible. The people at the reception were very kind and welcoming. The walls were are very thin- you could everything that goes on on the next room.
This is avery good hotel if you get the rooms you see in the pictures. Grate location, very good breakfast, Free printer in the loby. But if you get the rooms in the old wing, what they call the swiss wing, you will get a very old 2 star room. I've looked again in my resevation and diden't find any note about a cheap room or old wing. The room was very small about the size of the bed and a very small shower.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything is very good-the breakfast, the room, the hotel itself and the location was the best- right in the center of everything and a minute from trevi fountain. Very good city center hotel, our room was modern and nice. The only disadvantage is the wifi, yes it's free but it doesn't really work good, one hour it was good and then 2 days in a row-not good. But overall if they fix the internet problem than we'll come again.
We spent 5 nights. The good: great breakfast selection, excellent location, hotel in good repair, quiet, clean, great water pressure. The less than good: wifi went from marginal to terrible. Room very tight. Shower even smaller. Elevator typical European tiny (4 people) and maddeningly slow. TV remote(s) worked most of the time. Desk personnel just ok. Kind of ... 'what do you want''
