"Convenient, cosy, classy"
We wanted a hotel near to Versailles Palace and we're not disappointed! Very conveniently right next door to the Queens Gate end of the park with fabulous walk into the park and on up to the Palace itself. Our room was in The Pavilion part of the hotel which is just opposite the main Palace building. Very cosy room with huge bed, mini bar, large bathroom. The view may not have been up to much but we were spending our time out not in! Staff were polite and accommodating, we preferred to have our car parked for us rather than go to the underground carpark, no hassle. Bar staff attentive & food lovely. .do try going into the town too though. All over fabulous long weekend, we intend to return.
"Not Waldorf Caliber"
Just expected more following other Waldorf experiences. Follow up from concierge was poor, welcome letter is nothing more than a sales flyer for other services, lacks the warmth of a welcome letter. Certainly expect to pay more for everything at a Waldorf but 8 euros for a Coke, come on seriously. Location is key for visiting Versailles-Palace without a doubt. Property is lovely, you will not be disappointed with that. Don't expect red carpet treatment for being an upper tier Hilton Honors member.
"A very pleasant stay"
Versailles was our first destination upon arriving in France. This hotel was quite elegant and conveniently located to the Palace and in easy reach to other dining choices and local shopping. We found the food options and drink prices very high for what was offered so we chose to seek other options. The staff was amazing and every need was met with an enthusiastic yes. For location and quality this was quite a value.
"Beautiful Trianon Versailles"
This is a very lovely hotel and very close.to the beautiful chateau of Versailles which is very impressive. Loved staying here for 3 nights. Ate in the restaurant and food was superb but very expensive. Staff are friendly and helpful.too.
My daughter and I wanted to explore the Palace of Versailles so we stayed 2 nights at this excellent hotel. We stayed in a deluxe room which was beautifully appointed, clean, and luxurious. The bed, linens and furniture are high quality and comfortable. We had large windows that we could open that overlooked the pastures of the Versailles. Lovely view. The hotel sits next to the Versailles Palace. Just a short walk to either the palace or the Petite Trianon. The long marble gallery ran the length of the hotel. Plenty of comfortable seating. You can order drinks there and casual food. Not as expensive as the resturants with great food. The staff is attentive. Off of the gallery is a large outside patio that is an excellent place for drinks or a light meal weather permitting. Service is outstanding. There are 2 resturants that are run by Gorda Ramsey. The food is fantastic but expensive. The hotel staff are attentive and professional. Parking is available but there is a price. The train station is about a 37 minute walk through town or a short taxi ride. Only 35 minutes to Paris on the comfortable and safe train. The hotel is expensive but worth it. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would like to back.
