the hotel was modern and clean. the rooms were comfy and the bathroom/shower perfect. the only issue we had was the internet. you have to get a user name and password fromm the desk downstairs every day, as the pass only lasts one day! therefore every morning when you wake you have no internet access, you have to dress and go down to reception. this was annoying. apart from that its a great hotel and great location.Comment of O. "Good Hotel, could be great!"
Stayed for three nights in February. A good location right next to an underground stop. The hotel receptionist was professional and polite and the reception/bar is modern. The room was clean, modern and large enough for our stay. I found the bed to be hard and there wasn't enough pillows. The room didn't come with a kettle or tea making facilities - you have to upgrade for these. I have never heard of this. A kettle is a basic requirement in my opinion.
"Great hotel, location & service!"
The hotel was very clean and was lacking nothing, everything in the bedroom worked and was kept to a very high level of cleanliness. The sauna was good, gym was lacking a few free weights but you don't visit Berlin just to use the gym. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, would definitely recommend.
"Clean and great location"
The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. A few things were not working in the room but it wasn't such a big deal. The hotel is nicely located to most amenities. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets of needed. Staff were friendly and happy to help us annoying tourists :) Public transport is just across the road however we chose to walk most places. Overall a great stay.
We spent 3 nights here whilst visiting Berlin. Overall a great hotel in convenient location! Things to note: -Only 100m from nearest U Bahn station (Naturkundemuseum) though only 5 min walk in opposite direction to Norbahnhof station. We took the airport bus to Brandenburger Tor and then underground to the hotel -Room was adequate for us, clean and tidy. Slight smell of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. There was a small mini bar but no tea and coffee making facilities - apparently these come in the 'premier rooms' - we did not have breakfast in the hotel as thought €18 per person was too much. Plenty of bakeries and delis nearby though, we visited Steinecke brotmesiterei bakery near Norbahnof station. Another nice looking one by NaturKundeMuseum station beginning with K (can't remember the name) - walking south beyond the NaturKundeMuseum station you will find a well stocked supermarket - hotel is a good 10 min walk down to Friedrichstrasse or 2 stops on the underground. -5 min walk from hotel to the Berlin Wall memorial next to Norbahnof Station In general for tourist visitors to Berlin I would recommend getting a Berlin Welcome Card - discounts for many attractions and restaurants and free use of all the public transport (even though we were never asked to show our cards) Would highly recommend this hotel!
"TOP Service, Very Nice Room, Hip"
It felt like a New York City property, the boutique feeling was great. The night porter was excellent and made sure I was woken up as he promised. The breakfast as excellent and the selection was more than enough, the breads were fabulous. Fresh fruit, curd cheese and yogurt were plenty as well. All in all a nice place to stay, felt more business like but could also be good tor tourists. Very Nice
